After the Flame Mantra had completely refined the Profound Yellow Flame, Fang Yang could feel that the Heavenly Flame had fully merged into his body.
It was no longer so wild and unruly. Instead, it had become a gentle yet scorching energy flowing through his meridians, perfectly blending with his Soul Power as if it had always been a part of his body.
At that moment, the Heavenly Flame Bead lying dormant within Fang Yang's body suddenly gave a faint tremor.
Immediately afterward, a stream of inherited information surged directly into Fang Yang's mind.
He closed his eyes and concentrated. Among the twenty-three flame patterns engraved upon the Heavenly Flame Bead's surface, the one representing the Profound Yellow Flame was shining brilliantly, radiating dazzling Golden Light.
"So that's how it is..." Fang Yang opened his eyes, surprise flashing through them.
The Heavenly Flame Bead contained no fewer than twenty-three sealed Heavenly Flames! Each time he devoured a Heavenly Flame, part of the Heavenly Flame Bead's abilities would be unsealed.
Now that he had successfully refined the Profound Yellow Flame, the Heavenly Flame Bead had also awakened an ability—Time Acceleration!
The interior of the Heavenly Flame Bead contained a space of its own, governed by an independent Time Law.
As long as Fang Yang wished it, he could adjust the flow of time within the bead. One day outside might mean several days—or even longer—had passed inside...
Before Fang Yang could rejoice, his Heavenly Flame Martial Soul had also awakened the Profound Yellow Flame's ability—Heavenly Flame Domain!
One had to know that a Martial Soul Domain could only awaken once one's Soul Power cultivation had reached a certain level.
After Fang Yang devoured the Heavenly Flame, the Profound Yellow Flame then devoured his Martial Soul's Elemental Flame, merging with the laws of the Douluo World and awakening an Innate Domain!
An Innate Domain was more than enough to demonstrate just how powerful the Heavenly Flames were.
Fang Yang sat cross-legged on the bed, and his excitement gradually calmed.
He murmured, "The Profound Yellow Flame has been completely refined, and the Flame Mantra has successfully evolved. It's time to break through to the next realm."
As he rose, Fang Yang noticed that his clothes had long since been soaked with sweat and bore a few scorch marks.
He shook his head with a smile, casually took a clean outfit from the wardrobe, and changed into it.
Only after a while did Fang Yang push open the door and step outside.
In the Living Room, Na'er was curled up on the sofa watching Soul Guide TV, her long silver hair cascading down like a waterfall.
Hearing the sound, she immediately turned around, rose to her feet, and walked toward Fang Yang.
"Brother Fang Yang, are you done cultivating?" Na'er looked at Fang Yang, anticipation gleaming in her eyes.
A gentle smile appeared in Fang Yang's eyes. He raised his hand and softly stroked Na'er's smooth silver hair, his fingertips met with a silky touch.
"Mm, I'm done."
His voice unconsciously softened as his fingers gently smoothed her slightly messy bangs. "Sorry for making you wait so long, Na'er."
Na'er wrinkled her delicate little nose and pretended to be angry. "Hmph, Brother has to make it up to me! Will you take me to the beach to play for a while?"
Seeing Na'er's adorably spoiled expression, Fang Yang nodded helplessly yet indulgently. "All right. I'll take you after dinner."
"Then it's a deal!" Na'er instantly beamed, her crisp laughter ringing through the Living Room.
At that moment, his mother, Lin Ximeng, called gently from the kitchen, "Yang'er, take Na'er to wash her hands. Dinner is ready."
Hearing this, Fang Yang took Na'er's little hand and led her to the Restroom. Warm water washed over their hands as Na'er mischievously flicked droplets at Fang Yang's face, making him dodge again and again.
When they returned, Lin Ximeng had already laid out a lavish dinner on the Dining Table.
It turned out that a hearty Appetite was a blessing!
Though Na'er looked small and delicate, her Appetite was astonishingly huge. In the blink of an eye, she had finished two bowls of rice.
After the family had eaten and drunk their fill, Fang Yang said to Lin Ximeng, who was clearing the Dining Table, "Mom, I'll take Na'er to the beach for a walk."
Lin Ximeng reminded him, "Go ahead, but be careful. Don't stay out too late."
"Got it." Fang Yang answered, then took Na'er's little hand and headed out.
Though it was called a city, Aolai City was actually just a large village town without even city walls.
The ordinary district where Fang Yang's family lived was not far from the beach.
After leaving home, they could reach the shore in roughly twenty minutes.
This beach was not particularly beautiful. There was no fine sand, only more gravel and some dead Shells.
This was because humanity's severe pollution of the Great Sea and excessive hunting of Soul Beasts had made Soul Beasts in the sea exceedingly rare.
Tonight's moonlight was especially enchanting. Clear moonlight spilled down, coating the entire sea in a flowing silver radiance.
Stars glittered across the Deep Blue canopy of the sky, their reflections rising and falling with the waves, as though the seabed itself concealed a dazzling starry sky.
In the distance, Waves gently lapped against the shore's reefs with a soothing rush. The occasional cries of seagulls drifted over, composing nature's melody for this tranquil night.
Na'er stood on the beach, her long silver hair drifting gently in the Sea Breeze. Facing the Great Sea, she spread her arms and closed her eyes, deeply breathing in the salty Sea Breeze.
"Brother, the Great Sea is so beautiful!" Her voice carried a hint of joy.
Beneath the moonlight, her profile was breathtakingly beautiful, like a painting!
Fang Yang looked at the shimmering sea beneath the moonlight and softly agreed, "Yeah, it really is."
Yet his gaze unconsciously settled on Na'er, and no one knew what he was thinking.
Has Na'er really not recovered her memories yet? Fang Yang wondered inwardly.
At that moment, even Fang Yang himself was not entirely certain...
The Sea Breeze suddenly stilled for an instant. Na'er turned around, and clear moonlight flowed through her amethyst-like eyes, reflecting profound starlight.
She gently tugged Fang Yang's sleeve, her voice so soft it was nearly drowned out by the waves. "Ge, can I ask you a question?"
"What question?" Fang Yang asked Na'er in confusion.
Na'er Looked At Fang Yang, her long silver hair dancing in the Sea Breeze. She drew a deep breath. "Brother, what do you think of Soul Beasts...?"
She paused, and her voice became even softer. "Do you think they're good, or bad?"
When she asked that question, Fang Yang looked at Na'er and suddenly understood something.
After a long silence, Fang Yang slowly spoke, his voice low. "I don't agree with Sea God Tang San's claim that all Soul Beasts are Evil."
His gaze drifted toward the rolling horizon in the distance. "If I remember correctly, wasn't his mother transformed from the Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast Blue Silver Emperor? Soul Beasts are like humans; there are good and bad among them."
Moonlight fell upon them, stretching their shadows long.
Countless thoughts churned within Fang Yang. He did not know whether this answer was right, but it was the truest thought in his heart.
As for Tang San, whom the world revered as the Sea God, he was nothing more than a sanctimonious hypocrite.
In the distance, Waves crashed against the reefs in echoing bursts, as though witnessing their conversation.
"Mm..."
Na'er nodded lightly, an unreadable glimmer flashing through her purple eyes. "Brother, I understand."
Her voice was soft, yet it carried a sense of relief.
"Na'er, it's getting late. We should head back." Fang Yang withdrew his gaze from the distance and extended his hand toward Na'er.
Na'er obediently placed her slightly cool little hand in his palm and followed him as he turned and left.
