He could keep spiritual energy suppressed within his body; no matter how much spiritual energy Qin Yun absorbed, he could suppress it inside himself.
As Qin Yun's cultivation gradually rose, he would slowly refine that spiritual energy as well.
Even if his cultivation had yet to rise, he could first keep the absorbed spiritual energy suppressed within his body and refine it bit by bit later.
This modification carried out by the system would not cause Qin Yun any side effects. It was an excellent modification.
Within this Inner Space, Qin Yun did not even need to cultivate on his own. He could share in the benefits gained by those who believed in him, using them to raise his cultivation or improve other things.
Therefore, whether Qin Yun cultivated or not in this Inner Space did not matter.
Qin Yun was still taking a stroll through the grove, looking exceedingly leisurely.
Two people arrived in the mountains, a man and a woman.
They were a pair of siblings: Fuxi and Nuwa.
Fuxi and Nuwa were traveling together through the Primordial Wilderness. Today, they came to these mountains.
They walked slowly through the mountains, and before long, they saw a temple ahead of them.
"Brother, there's a temple up ahead..." Nuwa pointed at the temple before them.
Fuxi looked it over and said, "It's just an ordinary little temple."
"Brother, why don't we go inside and take a look?" Nuwa said. She rather wanted to have a look inside.
"What's there to see?" Fuxi said. He did not really want to go.
"Let's go have a look..." Nuwa said, reaching out to tug at the corner of Fuxi's robe.
Fuxi looked at her. His younger sister was rather lively and full of curiosity.
After looking at Nuwa, Fuxi finally nodded. "All right, then."
Fuxi had always doted on his younger sister.
Hearing that her brother had agreed, Nuwa smiled as well.
The siblings walked toward the temple.
There were also some monsters coming to the temple to offer incense.
"People actually come here to worship..." Nuwa said.
"They're all Mountain Spirits and Wild Monsters from nearby," Fuxi said.
"Brother, why don't we go in and worship too?" Nuwa said with a smile, as though her curiosity had been stirred.
Fuxi looked at his younger sister and said, "Sister, our cultivation has already reached the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm. How can we go worship in such a tiny temple?"
Most of the Mountain Spirits and Wild Monsters who came here to worship were only at the Earth Immortal realm. It was hardly strange for such weak beings to worship in this little temple.
But they were mighty experts of the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm!
Nuwa turned to look at Fuxi. Hearing him say this, she felt that he had a point.
"Sister, let's go. There's nothing worth seeing in this little temple," Fuxi said.
At that moment, one of the monsters spoke up. "Two Fellow Daoists, this temple is very efficacious. If you offer incense here, the Mountain God will surely bless you!"
This monster was a devout believer of the temple, and from time to time, he would promote it as well.
Hearing this, Fuxi could not help but sneer. "A mere little temple, a mere little Mountain God—what makes him capable of blessing us?"
Fuxi and Nuwa were both mighty experts of the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm. In the current Primordial Wilderness, Primordial Unity Golden Immortals were high-level combatants.
Hearing Fuxi say this, the monster looked at him and unconsciously gritted his teeth.
"You... how can you say that..." The monster pointed at Fuxi.
"I merely stated the facts," Fuxi said flatly, without even looking at him.
"This Mountain God Temple is very efficacious! Qingyi Mountain God is very efficacious too!" another monster said.
"That's right! Our Mountain God is extremely efficacious. We come every day to offer incense to him!" one monster said.
"You're from somewhere else, aren't you..." A monster looked at Fuxi and said, "Even if you are from elsewhere, you can't speak of our Mountain God like that!"
"Exactly!" the other monsters nodded one after another.
Nuwa looked at them, then at her brother.
Fuxi did not say anything more to the monsters. He looked at Nuwa and said, "Sister, let's go."
There was nothing worth seeing in this temple, and there was no need to waste words arguing with these monsters.
"Brother, let's go inside and take a look..." Nuwa said.
They had only just arrived outside the temple and had not yet entered.
"This temple really is very efficacious! You should go in and offer some incense too," one monster said.
"That's right, go in and offer incense. Our Mountain God will bless you too!" another monster said.
Fuxi paid no heed to what they said.
Nuwa felt somewhat curious. She thought, Is this temple really that miraculous?
"Nothing to see..." Fuxi said.
"Let's go in and take a look..." Nuwa pouted as she spoke, sounding almost coquettish.
Fuxi looked at her, seemingly helpless against her. In the end, he could only nod and indulge her.
The brother and sister entered the temple.
The scene inside the temple was very simple. A few spirits and monsters were worshipping there.
"Qingyi Mountain God..." Nuwa looked at the wooden spirit tablet on the offering table, reading the four words inscribed upon it.
Fuxi looked at those four words but said nothing.
To Fuxi, who was Qingyi Mountain God supposed to be? He had never even heard of him!
"Brother, why don't we offer a stick of incense too?" Nuwa said, her face full of curiosity and excitement.
Fuxi's expression remained cold and indifferent. He said, "Sister, we only came in to take a look."
They had only come in to look around. Why offer incense?
"Brother..." Nuwa looked at Fuxi, her pearly white teeth biting lightly into her red lip as she called to him.
"Enough. Let's go," Fuxi said.
"Brother..." Nuwa called again, reaching out to tug at Fuxi's sleeve.
The spirits and monsters nearby had noticed them as well.
One of them said, "Since you've come into the temple, offer a stick of incense."
"Yeah, offer some incense. Pay your respects to the Mountain God, and the Mountain God will bless you too," another spirit said.
With a cold face, Fuxi said, "Why should we offer incense to this Mountain God?"
At those words, the spirits and monsters looked at Fuxi with hostility in their eyes.
They were so devout, yet Fuxi had such an attitude.
"If you won't offer incense, then get out!" one particularly hot-tempered spirit shouted angrily.
Fuxi's face remained cold as well.
Seeing this, Nuwa tried to smooth things over. "We only came in to take a look... Don't be angry..."
Even though Nuwa possessed the cultivation of the Primordial Unity Golden Immortal realm, she put on no airs before these spirits and monsters whose cultivation was far beneath her own.
The spirits and monsters gave cold snorts but said nothing more.
"Sister, let's go," Fuxi said. He no longer wanted to stay here.
Nuwa looked at her brother.
Within the Inner Space, Qin Yun was still taking a walk through the forest garden.
