Background

Early life

Qian Yu married into Yinlian Village from another village while already a Visualization Realm cultivator. Her husband and his family initially suppressed her cultivation ambitions, but she endured in silence and trained secretly. After reaching the Inner Qi Stage, she established her position through force and continued advancing. 2 33

She had three children: Qian Shuxian, Qian Jiangchuan, and Qian Shumin. Her family's favoritism toward sons affected Shuxian and Jiangchuan differently, while Qian Yu herself remained strict with all of them. 2 43

In a future timeline, Qian Yu discovered the Suoluo Seed tree south of Yinlian Village while returning to her maiden home. Its Spirit Fruits aided her cultivation; after reaching True Essence, she transplanted the tree into the village and had it guarded. 2

Zhou Shan incident

When Meng Nan warned her that Zhou Shan was targeting an infant, Qian Yu immediately armed herself and followed him to investigate. She burst into the house, caught the infant Zhou Shan threw at her, pursued him through a window, and subdued him. 7

Qian Yu honored Meng Nan's request to conceal his involvement in the case. She later discouraged the village from persecuting Zhou Shan's ordinary relatives, believing they knew nothing of his crimes. 7 15
