Duanmu Huai hadn't forgotten to buy a few small animals for Ann and Mary. As it happened, the Stormwind City auction house had everything, including adorable little animals, so Duanmu Huai had simply decided to look here.

Looking at the pet before him, Duanmu Huai wore a smug smile, while the girls beside him shook their heads furiously.
"I don't want it."
"I think Miss Ann and Miss Mary might faint the moment they see this thing... Uncle, you're deliberately messing with them, aren't you?"
Naruse Mio stayed far away, looking at the tiny Cobra as she complained. Putting herself in their shoes, what girl would like a snake?
"What about this one?"
Duanmu Huai shifted his gaze to the Obsidian Whelpling beside it, only to have the girls unanimously reject it again.
"It's ugly!"
"It looks so fierce!"
"It's not cute at all!"
"Come on, do you people understand the value of dinosaurs?!"
Hearing the girls object one after another, Duanmu Huai rolled his eyes helplessly. This was a Velociraptor, for heaven's sake! It was so cool, and they actually called it uncute? Was the gap in their aesthetics really that huge?
"What about this cat over here?"
Duanmu Huai reluctantly gave up and pointed at the Familiar Cat in the cage beside them.
"I think this thing would suit Ann quite well."
"I don't think so. Miss Ann is a mage, not a Witch."
