As a world boss, this Aether Dragon was absolutely enormous, measuring a full thirty-five kilometers in length. However, the Inquisition was no pushover either. Duanmu Huai's flagship, the Glory Queen-class, was twenty-seven kilometers long, making it roughly comparable in size to the Aether Dragon. Not only that, there was only one Aether Dragon, while Duanmu Huai had a full nine battleships besides his flagship!
Although the other battleships were not as large as the Glory Queen-class and generally measured around fifteen kilometers, they were inferior to the Aether Dragon in both firepower and armor.
But... there were more of them!
Did they not know how a pack of wolves could bring down an elephant?
"Open the distance. Use the Apocalypse-class as the main attackers. Everyone, open fire!"
Duanmu Huai quickly issued the order.
Leviathan-class space creatures came in all sorts, and many were rare and seldom seen. Thanks to the data shared by players on the forum, however, Duanmu Huai had some understanding of them. Simply put, all space creatures basically relied on armor and had no shields. Physical attacks dealt extremely little damage to them, whereas energy attacks were quite effective.
Duanmu Huai's main fleet formation was not as balanced as Echote's. He preferred to go to extremes. Take the Apocalypse-class battleship, for example. Its defining feature was that it was covered from top to bottom in Lances, without a single Macro Cannon. It also possessed the special equipment known as multi-mounted Lance turrets, making it a pure energy-attack platform. Basically, once an Apocalypse-class unleashed a barrage of Lances, the enemy would immediately turn into a giant fireball.
On the other hand, the Retribution-class Battleship was the standard embodiment of a heavy artillery behemoth. Its twenty-eight Macro Cannon arrays along the broadside were enough to tear any enemy standing
