"Everyone, gather up first. Then we'll kill our way out."
Duanmu Huai cracked his knuckles and quickly issued his orders. They were just a bunch of students; he could deal with them however he wanted. Since they had dared to barge in and cause trouble, Duanmu Huai had no qualms about beating them half to death.
No one objected to Duanmu Huai's suggestion. Soon, the group hurried downstairs and, led by Duanmu Huai, ran toward the defensive line at the main entrance.
However, just as everyone reached the entrance, a rapid alarm suddenly rang out. The next moment, they saw heavy metal plates drop down, completely sealing off the surrounding windows and the doors leading outside. In an instant, the entire hall plunged into darkness. Then bright red lights came on, illuminating the dim hall before them.
"Huh? What's going on?"
Faced with this sudden change, everyone stood there dumbfounded. Just then, that strange voice came over the broadcast again.
"Emergency alert. Due to the detection of unidentified intruders invading the campus, the emergency lockdown procedure has been activated in order to protect the students who bear the future fate of humanity from harm. From this moment onward, the entire school has entered a state of full lockdown."
"Huh?"
Hearing this, everyone was once again stunned. Duanmu Huai raised an eyebrow, clenched his fists, loosened up his body, and strode toward the sealed entrance. Apparently guessing what he intended to do, the voice quickly rang out once more.
"To prevent accidents, I must remind everyone not to use violent means to destroy the doors, windows, or walls. If the system detects any noncompliant behavior, the school's internal self-destruct system will be activated. When that happens, the entire school will be blown into the sky with a 'boom.'"
"Hah. As if
