Teamwork; Konoha's New Little Rookies

Early morning in Konoha, the mist had yet to fully disperse.

On the grass beside Training Ground 7, twelve children aged four or five sat or stood, their faces showing varying degrees of nervousness and curiosity.

"Brother, are we really going to train together?"

Sasuke Uchiha clutched Itachi's clothes tightly, anticipation and unease flickering in his bright black eyes.

Itachi gently patted his Younger Brother's head and said warmly,

"Yeah. This was arranged by Lady Hikari. She wants you to get familiar with your future companions early."

Not far away, Naruto Uzumaki was excitedly spinning Karin around.

"Karin! Look at all these people! This is so much fun!"

Karin was getting a little dizzy from being spun around, her red hair flying through the air as her little face turned rosy.

"Brother, stop spinning me..."

"What a pain..."

Shikamaru Nara sat beneath a tree root and yawned.

"Why did we have to gather so early?"

Ino Yamanaka immediately put her hands on her hips and retorted,

"Shikamaru! This training was personally arranged by Lady Hikari! Can't you take it seriously?"

"Yeah, yeah!"

Choji Akimichi sat beside Shikamaru, hugging a bag of snacks with his cheeks stuffed full.

Neji Hyuga stood quietly beside Hyuga Hiashi, his pale eyes carefully observing every child present.

His gaze eventually settled on Hinata.

I wonder what kind of strength Lady Hinata will show today...

Rock Lee excitedly waved his little fists.

"Youth! This is the gathering of youth that Might Guy talked about!"
