History

Tsunade is the granddaughter of the God of Shinobi and is known as the Princess of the Land of Fire. Her younger brother, Nawaki, died shortly before the Second Shinobi World War council meeting; she believed his team could have saved him if it had included a Medical Ninja. Carrying a necklace that had belonged to the First Hokage and was Nawaki's final memento, she forcefully proposed a village-wide Medical Ninja training system. 1
