Cai Lin was born from the Purple Nether Flame Snake line, whose natural cultivation limit was the Dou Emperor realm. The Snake People Tribe used a blessing ritual to improve her bloodline to middle grade; her later awakening of the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python lineage broke this limitation and raised her potential to the Dou Venerate realm. 237 317
