Background / History
Qingyun Fairy's real name is Liu Qingrou. She became the Sect Master of the Qingyun Sect, the leading sect of the Eastern Continent, while her younger brother Liu Qingyun became emperor of the Qingyun Empire. Her grandfather, Liu Bantian, was the Qingyun Empire's founder and a former Qingyun Sect Master. 107 218 222
Before Jiang Cheng's departure from the Eastern Continent, he built a peach forest at her residence and entrusted her with the Yin Yang Lightning Pattern Tiger through a soul contract. The beast was later slain by a Dou Saint, who took its Magic Core and destroyed its body. 108
Known for reaching the Dou Saint realm within mere decades, Qingyun Fairy rejected recruitment by the Eight Ancient Clans because she refused to be controlled by them. She initially remained at Qingyun Sect, cultivating in seclusion and waiting for Jiang Cheng after he left without farewell. 108 211
Appearance
Qingyun Fairy is repeatedly portrayed as an ethereal sword immortal: a tall, graceful woman whose beauty is regarded as exceptional even among prominent female cultivators. She commonly wears white and carries a long sword; some accounts describe silver hair cascading down her back, while later scenes depict her with long black hair. 107 211 218
- Usually appears in flowing white robes and carries a long sword. 107 211

Personality
Qingyun Fairy is widely known as an “Ice Mountain Beauty”: detached from worldly affairs, focused on cultivation, and severe toward those who provoke her. She is impatient with disrespect and favors direct action over Jiang Cheng's more courteous approach. 108 221
Despite her cold public image, she is deeply emotional regarding Jiang Cheng. His earlier departure left her resentful and heartbroken, while his later return brings out jealousy, shyness, playfulness, and a willingness to leave her sect behind for a life of travel with him. 107 211 212 217
Her sense of responsibility initially prevents her from immediately leaving Qingyun Sect. She worries about its disciples and elders even as she insists on pursuing her own love and freedom. 211 217
