Cultivation knew no years, and the Primordial World counted no seasons. While Ye Xuan was in seclusion, Emperor Taiyi and the others marched across the Four Seas to wage war against the Dragon Clan. They sought to force the dragons to join the Heavenly Court. But the Dragon Clan had more than just Grand Unity Golden Immortals.
They also had a Quasi-Sage who had existed since the Dragon-Phoenix Measure Tribulation and held a position second only to Ancestor Dragon within the clan.
But after a fierce battle, the Dragon Clan still chose to submit. There were few pure-blooded dragons left even in ancient times, and Candle Dragon was no match for Fuxi and the others working together. In the end, the dragons joined the Heavenly Court.

The Demon Emperor and the others also carried the power of fate. Their futures had long been set, and every path led to certain death!

As for Daoist Kunpeng and Daoist Nuwa, they still had a glimmer of hope. One could establish Demon Script, while the other could create humans from clay. Once they gained supreme fortune, they could defy Heaven's will, change their fates, and escape their dead-end futures.
