Natsukawa Masuzu was momentarily speechless.
Does this person really have no self-awareness?
Who would normally associate with a super chuunibyou like you!
I only praise you because you're a true powerhouse. Others don't get this treatment; it's a miracle if they aren't treated like weirdos.
"Heh..."
Nibuya Morika let out a soft laugh.
She was probably the only one here who could truly understand how the other person felt right now.
"Heh... Haa..."
Natsukawa Masuzu took a deep breath, thinking of the best way to handle the current situation, her final resort which she didn't want to use.
"Actually, I have a reason I must join... because I'm actually a Stand User! We're from the exact same world!"
"Stand User!?"
Everyone, except Hasegawa Izumi, was surprised, though their reasons for surprise varied.
"That's right."
With slightly reddened earlobes, Natsukawa Masuzu nodded heavily in confirmation.
Saying something like that was difficult even for a girl who already possessed 'Expertise in Acting'.
"But how can you prove it? I don't see your Stand..."
Hasegawa Izumi seemed to quickly tune in, looking around.
What?
This still isn't enough?
Natsukawa Masuzu's self-proclaimed resilient heart felt incredibly fragile at this moment, on the verge of collapse. She almost couldn't help but curse out loud.
"Because only Stand Users can see Stands, and right now, I've temporarily lost the ability to manifest my Stand..."
There was no other way. She had to put on a further act, offering an awkward yet polite smile as she spoke.
"In that case, that does make sense."
Hasegawa Izumi hummed and nodded casually.
"How did you tune in so quickly?!"
This time, Nibuya Morika was the one utterly confused.
"What do you think, Sage? Should we let her join? We're just one member short of officially establishing our base."
Takanashi Rikka still chose to seek his opinion.
"Sage-sama, I still don't think this Stand User is trustworthy, death!"
Standing to the side, swinging her Twin-tail Hammer, Dekomori Sanae was clearly displeased.
Opinions were divided.
Finally, he made his judgment: "Alright, I agree to your request to join the Far East Magic Society. But let's be clear from the start: if you join us, you must abide by our rules. Otherwise, you will face our combined suppression!"
"Of course!"
Natsukawa Masuzu readily agreed.
Although the process was a bit arduous, she had finally achieved her goal.
As for what happened after this, they would just have to wait and see.
Time flew to Wednesday.
The morning sun poured warmly through the window.
Just as class was ending.
Hasegawa Izumi's thoughts stirred, and he suddenly turned to ask the vice-president a question.
"Rikka, when will we be number one at Shuchiin?"
"Today! It's today!"
Takanashi Rikka replied passionately without hesitation.
From the first unexpected meeting with the Sage to their current constant companionship.
From being completely ignored shortly after school started when they established the Far East Magic Society, to becoming famous just a few weeks later.
All of it felt like a dream to the young girl.
And deep in her heart, she wished this beautiful dream could continue forever, never to wake up.
"Ring~"
The familiar school dismissal bell rang.
"Let's go, Rikka! Let's win the last battle of our journey!"
"No matter how many battles lie ahead, I will always be by the Sage's side... There is no one who can defeat us!"
Author's Notes
Another new book launch. I wasn't planning on saying anything, and honestly, there isn't much to say.
However, since the new book's performance has been decent, I'll say a few more words.
It's perfectly normal for some people to be unsatisfied with certain parts. As you can probably tell, this book is completely filled with my personal preferences; it's the kind of book where I'm projecting myself into it, satisfying myself first.
From this, you can see that I'm a post-90s kid with a complex background. I grew up watching wuxia dramas, then things like the "shonen" manga Yu-Gi-Oh!, and only later on Bilibili did I get into romance anime...
This is just what happens when our wavelengths don't match. That's all there is to it.
As for the future plot structure, it's very simple: daily life mixed with the gradual emergence of the extraordinary. The weight of both plotlines won't be too different, with the main focus being on abstract and interesting elements.
Grinding monsters and leveling up? That's not something the protagonist should be doing.
If you've been reading carefully, you should have been able to tell from the abstract dialogue from the beginning that this world's setting isn't ordinary, and it's not a design where only one person can wield magic.
And the protagonist's abilities are already explained in the book title: the bigger your heart, the bigger the stage. His strength follows the version updates, putting him in a semi-invincible state, not an Immortal Emperor descending into daily life.
Alright, that's all I have to say.
I hope everyone will support the first subscription.
If you want to save it for later, feel free to do so, no need to announce it~
58 A Perfect Shot!
"Izumi-chan."
"Kaguya-chan."
"Izumi-chan..."
"Kaguya-chan..."
"What should I do! Who should I support!"
Fujiwara Chika followed the crowd, muttering to herself.
"Fujiwara-san, are you close with Shinomiya-san?"
Beside her, Nibuya Morika noticed her state.
"Mhm, Kaguya-chan and I have been good friends since middle school. Ah... it's about the same amount of time I've known Izumi-chan. Oh no! This makes it even harder to choose!"
Fujiwara Chika's head started to spin as she said this, shaking her head as she walked.
"Eeek."
Nibuya Morika had no choice but to go and support her, preventing her from falling.
"Everyone in the Far East Magic Society doesn't seem like normal people. Even that Nibuya... although she's trying hard to hide it, that vibe is still very obvious."
Walking at the very back, Natsukawa Masuzu silently observed the situation within the club.
She had only suddenly joined this club yesterday, so her understanding of everyone was still superficial. Only after understanding them could she act conveniently.
However, she wasn't worried. Apart from Hasegawa, everyone else was easy to fool and could be easily manipulated.
After a while, Hasegawa Izumi, who was leading the group, stopped and looked up ahead.
"We're here."
Like the Kendo Club, the Kyudo Club also had its own ancient dojo. However, the Kyudo Club's grounds were mainly used for practice targets, with no other flashy elements.
As the Far East Magic Society arrived at the entrance of the Kyudo Club in formation.
"Far East Magic Society is invincible!"
"Hasegawa, it's all up to you!"
"Ah~!"
"Go, Hasegawa-kun!"
Although they couldn't squeeze in to watch the entire match, quite a few people still came to cheer them on, clearing a path for a red carpet to be laid down.
Among them, Mixed Academy Students were the majority, as they were more eager to see such a scene. As for the Pure Academy Students, they were mostly girls, basically all attracted by his personal charm.
This man was just too cool.
Admiring the strong, falling for geniuses – this applied to those rich young ladies as well.
This is quite exaggerated.
Natsukawa Masuzu couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
Could it be that joining the Far East Magic Society would actually increase her popularity, just as Hasegawa had said?
Impossible, right?
"Hasegawa-kun, please come this way to change. We've prepared it for you."
As they entered the club and arrived at the preparation room, a girl wearing a kyudo uniform approached him, raising her hands and pointing to a small room beside them.
"Alright then."
Hasegawa Izumi hesitated for a moment before agreeing.
He had originally planned to compete in his school uniform, but since the other party had put in the effort for the sake of ceremony, he decided to go with the flow.
Not long after, he walked out dressed in kyudo attire.
Changing into different outfits usually gives people a different impression.
For example, Hasegawa Izumi at this moment appeared more composed and dignified than usual, stunning the girls.
"Sage looks so cool!"
"Lord Sage is too cool, death!"
Rikka and Dekomori stated it directly.
"Indeed."
Nibuya Morika nodded slightly.
Fujiwara Chika chuckled, "Izumi-chan has a great aura today."
Natsukawa Masuzu also joked, "I've fallen for you again, Lord Sage!"
"Don't you dare use the same nickname, you!"
Dekomori Sanae immediately yelled at her.
"Weakling."
Natsukawa Masuzu looked down on her, extended her right hand, and pressed down on Dekomori's head, keeping her at bay.
"Shinomiya-san must be getting impatient. It's my turn to go."
