Background / History

Tang Chen is a transmigrant who expected to become a human Soul Master but instead awakened as a Blue Silver Grass Soul Beast in the Star Dou Great Forest. He was born from Ah Yin, the previous Blue Silver Emperor, while she was in Soul Beast form. Tang Hao rejected him upon learning he was not human and abandoned him in the forest. Tang Chen survived through the Seclusion System, retaining a lasting grudge against his father. 1

During an earlier break from seclusion, Tang Chen saved Qian Renxue from a Titan Giant Ape near the Star Dou Great Forest. Both isolated by their circumstances, they grew close and eventually became husband and wife. 2

After completing his fifteen-year seclusion, Tang Chen sensed that Ah Yin had not resurrected as expected. He traced her aura to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, defeated its defenders, and recovered her from the sect's back mountain.
