Kiana defeated Sirin and the Thousand Herrschers by drawing on her bonds with Mei, Bronya, Fu Hua, and Himeko, then faced and purified the despair left behind. The Theater of Domination ended in a field of flowers, but a remnant warned that the Heavenly Principles would descend.
The spectators learned that Otto had engineered Kiana’s suffering to make her a key to resurrect Kallen, and saw the loss that drove his obsession. As Kiana pursued Otto through a rift to Kallen’s execution, the system interrupted their confrontation and returned to Otto’s past.
Kiana defeats the Thousand Herrschers as the Light Screen reveals how Otto’s devotion to Kallen drove him from a would-be inventor to forbidden experiments, unintended salvation, and desperate schemes. After Otto shields Kallen from Immortal Chi Yuan, he and Kallen take in an orphan named Vera, while the observers recognize that Otto’s attention remains fixed on Kallen.
As Otto secretly manipulates events to pursue his goal of reviving Kallen, she flees Schicksal and finds refuge with Yae Sakura. When the Erosion Herrscher takes control of Sakura, Kallen seals it at the cost of her life and accepts execution, leaving Sakura alive.
After Kallen dies, Otto rebuilds Schicksal and devotes himself to finding a way to bring her back. His search leads him to Mount Taixu, where he uncovers Fu Hua’s betrayal and begins awakening her from a seal.
Fu Hua awakened, confronted Su Mei, and left Mount Taixu before Otto drew her and Li Sushang into his plans. The God Realm’s observers then uncovered Otto’s decades-long scheme to revive Kallen through Kiana, whose transformation into the Herrscher of Flamescion brought her to the Theater of Domination as Otto watched from afar.
Otto sacrificed souls, allies, and civilization to reach the Imaginary Tree and rewrite the World Line so Kallen would never die. He made Kiana the final person who could free him from the Tree, while keeping a plan to regress civilization if she failed.
Otto and Kevin’s paths converged on the Ice Field, where Kiana and Durandal fought Otto and broke his hold on the Imaginary Tree. Otto sacrificed his existence to create a world where Kallen could live without Honkai, but her execution remained fixed, leaving a lasting crack in history.
Otto gave up his existence to alter the past and save Kallen, creating a new world line where she survived without remembering him. After history was corrected, his remaining power repaired the cracks in spacetime.
Otto erased himself from history to give Kallen a life beyond the execution, then Kiana broke free of the identity imposed on her and challenged Kevin’s plan to screen humanity. Mei joined World Serpent to protect Kiana, completed trials involving Herrscher cores and the dead, and entered the Elysian Realm, where she met Apponia.
