Nan Li and her allies returned to Sun Island as Spirit Hall invaded, forcing the clans into a desperate fight to defend their home. The arc ended with Nan Li and Dong Yun sacrificing their power to protect the island while Ling Guang broke through the heavens to send Nan Li aid.

• Dugu Yan evolved her Jade Phosphorous Serpent into the Jade Phosphorous Serpent Emperor, while Dan Hong left the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well with Nan Li and Dong Yun.
• Nan Li and Dong Yun traveled toward Sun Island, where Beloy attacked Nan Li and revealed she had killed Nan Yin and Chong Yang, but Nan Yin arrived to save them.
• Lan Xi admitted that she had killed Lang Xuan and sent Dan Qing to awaken Luo Gu’s bloodline, while Nan Li resolved to protect Sun Island from the same fate.
• Dong Yun awakened the Great Sun Golden Crow, and Nan Li discovered the Cloud-Swallowing Fire Howl had taken human form as Red Cloud before she and Jiang E Li fused their Spirit Power beneath the Fusang Tree.
• Qian Xun Ji led Spirit Hall’s forces to Sun Island, killed its defenders, and began attacking the clans for Soul Rings and Soul Bones.
• Nan Li and Dong Yun returned to defend Sun Island, but Spirit Hall’s forces pushed the clans toward the Chiyang River and trapped the two women in powerful domains.
• Qing Wu self-destructed to destroy the Angel Legion and free Dong Yun, while Nan Li and Dong Yun used the Two Forms Qianyang Array to cover the clans’ retreat and sacrificed their power to restore the Fusang Tree.
• Ling Guang broke through the heavens and stopped time across the plane to send power to Nan Li, who recalled that her soul had already been damaged by later events and the poison in the Coral Sea.

Nan Li trained to defend Sun Island, helped Lan Xi and Nan Yin defeat the invading Roaring Demon Sharks, and then traveled to Shrek Academy. There, she reunited with Xiao Wu and began testing the students in combat.

• Nan Yin sent Luo Gu and Zhu Zhu Lang into the City of Slaughter, while Nan Li returned to Sun Island and began honing her archery under Lan Xi.
• Lan Xi and Di Yan trained Nan Li and Dong Yun, and Lan Xi began Dan Qing’s costly transformation into humanoid form.
• Nan Yin, Lan Xi, Nan Li, Dong Yun, and their allies fought off the Roaring Demon Sharks, while Lan Xi killed the Shark King and Zhuzhao helped destroy the attackers.
• After the battle, Nan Li and Dong Yun sealed themselves inside the Southern Bright Domain, and Nan Yin trained Nan Li while Lan Xi trained Dong Yun over the following months.
• Nan Li left for Shrek Academy with Red Cloud, agreed to help Zhu Zhuqing return to Star Luo and support Dai Xiyun, and reunited with Xiao Wu.

Nan Li and Dong Yun advanced their plans while Nan Li reunited with allies and entered the Four Elements Academy Friendship Gathering’s Simulated Environment. The arc ended with Huo Wu challenging Feng Xiaotian after both defeated their first opponents.

• Nan Li defeated Shrek’s students, then left for the woods with Zhu Zhuqing, who asked her to help arrange a way to leave Shrek Academy.
• Dong Yun’s meeting with a Spirit Hall Dark Soul Guard alarmed Dan Hong, who told Nan Li about the encounter and her visions of A’yan’s death.
• Nan Li comforted Dan Hong and traveled with her to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where Dan Qing delivered a Soul Bone and warned of Dan Hong’s future calamity.
• Dong Yun revealed her arrangement with Qian Renxue, agreeing to help weaken Spirit Hall in a future war in exchange for Sun Island’s protection until then.
• Nan Li returned Dan Qing’s Soul Bone to Dong Yun, who revealed it had belonged to their father, and the sisters drank together before Nan Li spoke of being destined to part from everyone.
• Months later, Nan Li and Huo Wu traveled to Heaven Dou City for the Friendship Gathering, where Nan Li entered the Simulated Environment and crossed dangerous terrain with Dan Qing and Dong Yun.
• Nan Li, Dan Qing, and Dong Yun reached the Simulated Environment’s exit first, then learned that the Challenge Match would determine rankings and Elite Tournament selections.
• Huo Wu defeated Lei Dong and challenged Feng Xiaotian, who overcame his hesitation and stepped onto the Soul Fighting Stage.

Nan Li and Dong Yun prepared Blazing Fire Academy for the Elite Tournament, where Nan Li defeated Shrek Academy and Dong Yun confronted Spirit Hall’s pressure. The preliminaries ended with five teams qualifying, as Dong Yun began planning an operation in Heaven Dou City.

• Feng Xiaotian defeated Huo Wu without seriously injuring her, and Shui Bing'er challenged Nan Li, who defeated her with fire and Crimson Feather Rain.
• Dong Yun refused Nan Li’s repeated challenges, then corrected her assumptions about Huo Wu and Feng Xiaotian, and meanwhile, Ning Xinxin stole the Aromatic Silk Beauty before Nan Li killed her, though the system resurrected her.
• Nan Li and Dong Yun returned to Blazing Fire Academy, received Immortal Scale Soft Armor from Nan Yin, and prepared to conceal their Martial Soul Fusion Skill during the tournament.
• Blazing Fire Academy defeated Elephant Armor Academy, then Nan Li entered the arena against Shrek Academy and led her team to victory by knocking Tang San and several teammates off the stage.

• Blazing Fire Academy conceded its match against Thunder Academy, while Godwind Academy conspicuously lost to Blazing Fire, and Blazing Fire, Godwind, Thunder, Tianshui, and Shrek qualified for the next stage.
• Dong Yun took Nan Li to Xue Qinghe’s teahouse and showed her a map of the Heaven Dou Imperial Palace’s guard deployments.
