Since Old Ghost started writing, this has been the book with the steadiest results and the greatest potential. And folk customs are something of a niche genre, which makes this an even more delightful surprise for Old Ghost.

But with results this good, Old Ghost has to be honest: I feel rather ashamed. I can't help thinking I haven't given it my all to repay your kindness, and that there are places where I could've done a little better.
But sometimes, you really do have to acknowledge your age, accept that your energy is waning, and admit that your abilities have their limits.
Back in February, I was diagnosed with myocardial injury, and the doctor immediately told me I needed to be hospitalized. Of course, Old Ghost isn't going to claim I love writing so much that I'd throw my life away for it. It wasn't that dramatic.
But I did feel seriously anxious. I didn't want my writing schedule thrown into disarray all at once, nor did I want to leave such a huge gap in the book's upward momentum. So, after putting it off for two days, I hurriedly went to the hospital for some tests, got a coronary CTA, and was discharged.
