After naming it the Spirit Nurturing Banner, Old Ancestor Styx instructed Four Maidens Plum Orchid Bamboo Chrysanthemum to gather the branches of the eight sets of Mid-grade Innate Spiritual Root-level Blood God Fruit Trees and Ghost Soul Treasure Trees in the Blood Sea, as well as the branches from another 1.296 billion pairs of Top-grade Acquired Spiritual Root-level Blood God Fruit Trees and Ghost Soul Treasure Trees! However, with Old Ancestor Styx's current abilities, even as the favored child of the Nether Blood Sea, he could not accomplish this. For now, he could only seize this opportunity to set up a Formation that would separate the Blood Sea and prevent the blood of ordinary Living Beings from contaminating it!

Leading Four Maidens Plum Orchid Bamboo Chrysanthemum above the Blood Sea, he instructed the four maidens to arrange the three hundred thousand Auxiliary Banners according to special positions. As the Formation operated, the Filth Qi, Blood Qi, and fragmented True Spirits that had previously fallen into the Blood Sea were absorbed and drawn into the Spirit Nurturing Banners.

As the Formation continued operating, it gradually spread across the Great Wilderness. Using the properties of the Void Nether Treasure Tree within the Formation, it began drawing Filth Qi and Blood Qi from the Great Wilderness across vast distances, while the Formation itself gradually vanished from sight!

Old Ancestor Styx named this Formation the "Sea of Blood Soul Nurturing Great Array." It possessed the functions of absorption, transformation, soul nurturing, and concealment!
