Hundred Herbs Illustrated

After leaving the Nether Blood Sea, Old Ancestor Styx determined his direction and rode Soaring Golden Light toward the East Sea. The Great Wilderness Earth was filled with countless opportunities, and since he was in no hurry, he could take his time. Perhaps he might stumble upon some fortuitous chance. Besides, Soaring Golden Light was not slow!

Sure enough, not long after leaving the Blood Sea, Old Ancestor Styx encountered a Formation within a valley. Yimu Qi was dense within it, and his interest was immediately piqued. He began refining the Formation, and after a thousand years, he finally succeeded, comprehending its name and purpose.

The Innate Wood Great Formation was a purely defensive and concealing Formation. It used the endlessly renewing nature of the Wood Law to strengthen itself, defend against enemies, and disguise and conceal its user through Wood Law attributes.

Upon entering the Great Formation, Old Ancestor Styx saw a Scroll suspended in the air. Following his usual practice, he first collected the Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures from the Formation Space before refining the Scroll. Once it had been refined, he understood its name and function. It was an Innate Exotic Treasure beneath the Great Dao: the "Hundred Herbs Illustrated."

Innate Exotic Treasures were even rarer in the Great Wilderness than Innate Spiritual Treasures. They had no fixed grades, yet each possessed extraordinary functions. For instance, there was the Saint-Slaying Pill in Old Ancestor Hongjun's possession, the Heaven Burying Coffin held by Primordial Heavenly Venerate, and the Six Souls Banner held by Daoist Tongtian. Under specific conditions, these could even kill Saints. There was also Primordial Heavenly Venerate's Myriad Heavens Auspicious Cloud, which contained Vast Righteousness and was said to possess peerless defense.

He remembered that there was another Human Race Great Treasure nearby in later generations, and wanted to see whether he could obtain it ahead of time. Furthermore, if he remembered correctly, Mount Wuyi should not be too far from the East Sea.
