But those like Bakuzan, Fuhrer Ugly, Gums, and Homeless Emperor had an easily overlooked weakness: they wore clothes and had hair, and neither clothing nor hair had neural connections to their bodies—as long as the hair follicles were left untouched.

As a result, even with Nanobots clinging to their clothing and hair, monsters of this type had a hard time noticing anything wrong.

Finally, there were monsters with Nen, such as Psykos. Although she also wore clothes and had hair, her Nen was so powerful that Nanobots approaching her body still risked being discovered.
