History
Li Qingye entered Luzon under the identity of Zhang Jack to acquire Yada Marine Aquaculture, a struggling Philippine aquaculture firm. He bought it for $12 million, renamed it Homo sapiens Company, placed five managers in charge of its operations, and prepared to build an aquaculture laboratory on Calaguas Island 10.
The company’s early growth was driven by aquaculture, biotechnology, and tightly controlled expansion. By the time it had earned more than $570 million in revenue, Li Qingye had already suspended eel-fry sales to avoid attracting outside attention and was planning thirty large breeding farms along the Darte Port coast 17. Gene-modified operatives equipped with biochips were subsequently inserted into the company and the Luzon Intelligence Station 21.
Its public founding celebration was held in Thonburi at the renamed Star River Grand Hotel. Li Qingye presented the company as an organization dedicated to technology and humanity, inviting people worldwide to join for work, security, and improved living conditions 296.
As it expanded into new territories, the Company deliberately prevented any one regional or ethnic group from dominating a branch. Employees were transferred and mixed between regions, while the concepts of “Homo sapiens,” “Company person,” and eventually “New Human” were promoted in place of local identities 356 415. The New Human identity became the foundation of its internal cohesion as its workforce incorporated people from thousands of ethnic groups 415.
Organization and Workforce
Employment system
| Stage | Duration / Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Probationary employee | Six months | Initial employment stage for incoming workers. |
| Intern employee | Six months | Follows the probationary stage. |
| Formal Natural Person employee | After probation and internship | Standard formal employment category. |
| Formal New Human employee | Biochip-equipped employee | Undisclosed formal category; New Humans working undercover can directly enter this status. 306 |
- The Company does not allow outside capital to buy into it; its original shares have only one owner, Li Qingye 306.
- Basic services are broadly covered internally, leaving employees with comparatively little need to save and making them a high-consumption population 300.
- Its residential standard specifies 30 square meters of actual indoor living space per person; newly built apartments use coral diatom mud, iron bamboo, stainless steel, and aluminum alloy rather than adhesive-heavy furnishings 339.
- By the first quarter of 2023, it employed 974 million people and operated a closed economy with strong internal confidentiality 385.
- The workforce later reached 2.67 billion alongside 21.17 million square kilometers of territory 445, then 3.78 billion after absorbing another 387 million employees from Asia 613.
- Nine years after arriving at the Star River, its employee population exceeded half of Earth’s total population 649.
New Human identity
The Company created the New Human/Natural Person distinction to replace ethnic and regional identities within its rapidly growing workforce. This identity system was intended to prevent internal fragmentation in an organization spanning many populations and territories 415.
- New Humans are the Company’s core developmental workforce, supported by biochips and DNA storage devices containing extensive knowledge 196.
- By 18, students may receive a biochip that greatly accelerates learning and allows them to change majors freely during university 356 400.
- The Company maintains a distinct internal language while using English, Chinese, French, Spanish, and Arabic externally, producing what observers describe as “one-way transparency” in favor of the New Humans 539.
- By a later period, 24.3% of the Company’s roughly three billion employees hold doctorates—nearly 750 million people 535.
Technology and Capabilities
Biochips and symbiotic organisms
The Biochip is the core of the Company’s New Human program. It is implanted in the brain, stores vast quantities of knowledge, supports rapid learning, and is intended for universal implantation at age 18 450.
- Reduces learning time and pressure by providing each user with an internal knowledge repository and artificial-intelligence assistance 400 450.
- Includes control functions, creating a trade-off between personal freedom and the benefits of New Humanization 450.
- Controls symbiotic microorganisms that regulate health, treat diseases, and extend average lifespan by 42% 451.
- Symbiotic organisms regulate fat, protein, muscle, blood sugar, electrolytes, and hormones; they can maintain a healthy physique even for sedentary hosts 419.
- Mitochondrial symbiotic organisms can photosynthesize, allowing New Humans to gain vitality from sunlight 347 451.
Medical technology
The Company has developed implantable artificial organs, advanced prostheses, exoskeleton assistance devices, intelligent care robots, and hemostatic products 337.
- Its artificial corneas, eyes, cochleas, teeth, and voice-assistance devices address blindness, deafness, limb loss, paralysis, and age-related physical decline 337.
- It has reportedly conquered most diseases aside from a limited number of brain disorders, including mental illness 337.
- Medical treatment and employment opportunities are major sources of loyalty among employees and prospective recruits 337 539.
- Its medical systems can treat severe conditions that are otherwise inaccessible to Natural Persons, contributing to the lack of accessible facilities in some Company cities 337.
Anthropomorphic Bodies
Anthropomorphic Bodies are brainless, rectangular biological constructs used as human-test substitutes. They possess organs, bones, muscles, blood vessels, and genetic similarities to humans, while an artificial biochip brain monitors bodily changes 475.
- Created through gene recombination, cloning, and biological modification 475.
- Designed as non-humanoid “meat blocks” to reduce the uncanny-valley effect and moral resistance 475.
- Replace Natural Persons in Company laboratory experiments involving human subjects 475.
- Qingye Medical can produce approximately 500,000 to 1 million Anthropomorphic Bodies per year 475.
- Their use shortens drug and medical-technology testing while allowing customized or extreme experiments that human volunteers would not accept 475.
Industry and construction
The Company’s industrial system combines resource extraction, manufacturing, logistics, and rapid construction.
- It uses bio-mineral enrichment, ultra-deep mining, and bacterial cracking to pursue resource self-sufficiency in minerals, petroleum, and natural gas 323.
- Its subsidiaries produce steel, aluminum, copper, cement, glass, plastic, methane, petroleum, electricity, ships, cars, aircraft, and electronics 385.
- Engineering teams equipped with exoskeleton armor can establish power stations and construct hundreds of meters of high-strength seawater-concrete wall in a day 341.
- The Rhino 1 Canal Excavator Ship excavated a 315-kilometer canal in thirteen days 350.
- A temporary dock and employee settlement were built in a Gobi Desert location within three days 350.
Space program
The Company’s space program developed from near-Earth launches into Solar System colonization and eventual interstellar expansion.
- The New Luzon launch vehicle placed a 150-ton payload into near-Earth orbit, while the New Visayan became the Company’s first manned spacecraft 406.
- Ten spacecraft assembled the Homo sapiens Space Station in Earth’s middle orbit within one day 406.
- In Star River Year 2, it launched 7.38 million tons of material into space and completed 37 space projects, including the Homo sapiens Space Station, an Earth–Moon L1 station, Copernicus Base, and a Mars exploration project 550.
- It deployed twelve Cosmic Observation Stations along Mars’ orbital path to monitor nearby systems and potential threats 621.
- The Moon Mass Driver successfully launched a Magnetic-class spacecraft at 15.3 kilometers per second, marking its first step toward deep-space travel 616.
- After conquering the Six-Clawed Giant Star Nebula, it began the Artificial Earth Project, planning fifteen artificial planets within a 400-year construction window 687.
Defense and security
- The Company maintains security forces equipped with exoskeleton armor, assault rifles, advanced vehicles, and specialized units such as the Blood Blade Special Forces 449.
- Its ballistic-missile interception system demonstrated the destruction of five incoming missiles in midair 449.
- The Third Pacific Fleet consists of 28 warships and established an overt Company presence in Nuki City, New Granada 437.
- It employs strict information-security measures, including chip self-dissolution, corpse self-dissolution, and mandatory intelligent-assistant execution programs for personnel operating abroad 400.
- After determining that the Six-Clawed Civilization could threaten humanity, it tripled space-weapon production and prepared for war 610.
Education
The Company’s education system runs from nursery through high school before biochip implantation at adulthood.
| Age | School stage |
|---|---|
| 0–3 | Nursery |
| 3–6 | Kindergarten |
| 6–12 | Primary school |
| 12–15 | Junior high school |

Its pre-adult education emphasizes interest-based learning, low pressure, and ideological education rather than entrance examinations. At 18, biochip implantation transforms later university study by making knowledge acquisition dramatically faster 356.
- All employee children receive the same education; the Company maintains no internal elite-school system 400.
- Schools use small classes, professional teachers and counselors, foster parents, and continuous supervision to provide companionship and guidance 400.
- University students may switch majors freely, and strong graduates can master multiple languages and disciplines 400.
Expansion and Foreign Relations
Land and Sea Self-Determination Plan
Li Qingye announced the Land and Sea Self-Determination Plan during the Company’s celebration. Under the plan, if 75% of Natural Persons in a village, town, or region agree to join the Company, that region becomes a new branch company 452.
- The plan allows the Company to absorb territory through local support rather than conventional annexation 452.
- Foreign observers interpret it as forcing other powers to choose between allowing emigration or losing population and territory to the Company 452.
- The policy targets even major powers by allowing localized branch formation within their borders if the 75% threshold is reached 452.
Economic influence
- The Company offers special aid loans to regions purchasing its products, a strategy viewed by foreign observers as a bid for grain-market dominance 329.
- Its Golden Yuan has purchasing power roughly equivalent to 1.7–2.1 euros based on local purchasing power 300.
- It uses high welfare, technology, medicine, communications, and infrastructure to attract workers and pressure neighboring states 347 467.
