Background / History
Qingye Group was conceived in February 2019 as Li Qingye's second branch. Its public re-emergence under Li Qingye's name was intended to draw out the people who had taken control of Xin Xin Group after his disappearance, while Homo sapiens Company continued operating under the identity “Zhang Jack.” The two organizations were deliberately kept financially and industrially separate, with Qingye Group receiving approximately US$150 million in initial capital from Li Qingye's mother's secret account. 47
Li Qingye selected low-temperature glass manufacturing and coral cement as the Group's first public industries, avoiding technologies that were too sensitive to expose. Ma Chi, who resembled Li Qingye, was prepared to appear publicly as the founder; Liu Zhifan became General Manager, while Yang Mengjiao handled internal supervision and covert infiltration. 47 48 49
The Group was established in southern coastal Hongsawad for its existing industrial base, coastal access, and unstable—but manageable—political conditions. It opened a Yangon branch, established its initial headquarters in Tavoy District, purchased nearby islands, and secured a 50,000-mu industrial site near Tavoy Port with mining rights for quartz, limestone, and other minerals. 48 53
Its headquarters later moved from Dawei Port to Taunggyi Basin, where it had prepared employee facilities, a secret base, and a private estate for Li Qingye. The relocation reduced vulnerability to coastal attack and allowed Hongsawad to serve as a potential temporary headquarters for the wider organization. 97
Organization
| Position / Function | Personnel | Responsibilities |
|---|---|---|
| Founder and Chairman | Li Qingye | Established the Group as a public-facing branch, retains strong control despite diluted shareholding, and directs its strategic expansion. 47 101 |
| Public stand-in | Ma Chi | Impersonates Li Qingye, oversees technology and internal management, and represents him in sensitive business dealings. 48 53 169 |
| President / General Manager | Liu Zhifan | Leads commerce, management, negotiations, expansion, and later signs the Ceylon ports agreement as Group President. 48 53 69 231 |
| Internal supervision | Yang Mengjiao | Oversees internal monitoring, clandestine infiltration, and coordination with security forces. 48 53 |
| Security support | Homo sapiens Company Security Department | Provides Qingye Group's non-public security and infiltration capability; 200 Blood Blade personnel were dispatched to Hongsawad for protection and covert operations. 48 55 |
Qingye Group's public corporate structure conceals extensive cross-shareholding, offshore companies, local joint ventures, proxy shareholders, and covertly placed Managers and Soldiers. This structure makes its local control difficult to trace or penetrate. 69 70
Industries and Operations

| Beverages | Leveraged its cheap glass bottles to enter purified water, fruit juice, carbonated drinks, and canned-food production. It acquired or jointly controlled numerous local beverage plants during its price war. 53 63 68 |
| Healthcare | Operates Qingye Medical, Qingye Hospital, and Qingye Comprehensive University. Free examinations are used to gather medical data and train accelerated-program medical personnel. 102 125 |
| Agriculture | Controls farming, processing, transport, and sales through Qingye Agriculture Company; assigns crop specialization by town to limit internal competition and stabilize prices. 127 |
| Finance | Operates Qingye Bank and issues Golden Yuan, a currency exchangeable for gold and supported by Group products, services, and reserves. 103 |
| Energy and infrastructure | Invests in hydropower, energy storage, roads, ports, airports, railways, construction, and local utilities. Eastern Water Energy Company built the Ruiniang Town Hydropower Station and Energy Storage Reservoir. 101 104 |
| Transport and manufacturing | Includes passenger transport, taxis, automobile manufacturing, aviation, construction, and other industrial subsidiaries. 69 163 167 |
Glass and Beverage Expansion
Qingye Group's low-cost glass bottles enabled aggressive pricing in Hongsawad's beverage market. A 500 ml bottle and cap from its glass factory cost approximately US$0.012 to produce, allowing the Group to remain competitive even after shipping bottles abroad. 63
Its low-priced purified water, fruit juice, glassware, and carbonated drinks rapidly displaced local competitors. By June of its first expansion year, Qingye Beverage had absorbed three small beverage factories and controlled 12 processing plants through acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures. 63
The Group also acquired saccharification technology, then improved it through fungal fermentation methods that allowed low-cost syrup production from starches and plant matter such as branches and grass leaves. 68
Healthcare and Human Resources
Qingye Hospital provides free physical examinations to build a medical and human-body database while giving its doctors high-volume practical experience. Qingye Medical reportedly employed more than 3,000 doctors, many trained through accelerated programs after being remolded from Golden Triangle criminals, death-row inmates, and Wu Kaile loyalists. 102
Qingye Comprehensive University was created to train these personnel for deployment across the Group's industries. The Hongsawad branch gained more than 100,000 loyal remolded personnel through this system, supporting its rapid expansion without the personnel shortages expected of a conventional corporation. 102
Qingye Medical's public products include rapid test papers, Ai Qingling for AIDS, Rabies Buster, Scarless Scar Removal Serum, Antidote 3 for Ebola, and Langfu Anning for viral infections. 121 125 144 145
Agriculture and Urbanization
Qingye Group expanded farmland holdings and promoted the consolidation of villages and towns across the Shan Plateau. Projects such as Mengli Town's mountain-leveling and valley-filling plan were designed to increase usable settlement land sevenfold. 100 127
Its agricultural model places crop production, transportation, processing, and sales under Qingye Agriculture Company. The Group uses a dedicated agricultural analysis office with a supercomputer to monitor production and price changes. 127
Fang Xinwu characterized the policy as “malicious urbanization,” arguing that land annexation and urban development would turn displaced rural residents into long-term industrial laborers. Qingye Group's model, however, was designed to absorb this labor through construction, collectivized farms, transport, logistics, and manufacturing. 100 102
Finance and Golden Yuan
Golden Yuan is Qingye Group's company currency, issued through Qingye Bank. Its announced exchange rate was 500 Golden Yuan per gram of gold, and the Group pledged free gold exchange to encourage acceptance in Hongsawad and foreign trade. 103
During its integration of Hongsawad, Qingye Group acquired 273 tons of gold, 1,352 tons of silver, precious stones, and 27 gold mines with estimated reserves of 162–185 tons. Qingye Bank's reserves were stated to support the issuance of 136.5 billion Golden Yuan. 103
The Group also uses Golden Yuan to obtain foreign equipment, ships, production lines, commodities, and medical supplies. One wave of transactions brought it materials valued at 2.3 billion Golden Yuan. 122

| Annual rice production | Nearly 10 million tons 198 |
| Estimated public valuation | At least 500 billion Golden Yuan, according to outside estimates 168 |
Qingye Group's finances were strengthened by the seizure of wealth from Hongsawad warlords, landlords, and prominent families. The Group obtained approximately US$32.3 billion in cash and US$27.7 billion in overseas deposits, alongside gold, fixed assets, mines, and industrial holdings. 104
By the time Jiang Haitao visited Taunggyi, Qingye Group controlled such a large share of the city's developed area that he believed it could be renamed “Qingye City.” 168
Ceylon Expansion
Qingye Group entered Ceylon during the country's economic collapse. It agreed to supply 2 million tons of low-priced rice annually in exchange for 99-year operating rights to Galle Port, Trincomalee Port, and Sile Port, plus development rights to 30 square kilometers of surrounding land. 231
The Group quickly established supermarkets, banks, restaurants, transport services, construction projects, utilities, and other industries in Colombo. Tens of thousands of employees and their families made Qingye Group-affiliated residents nearly half of Colombo's population. 231
In Ceylon, the Group used internal transfer payments to protect its own subsidiaries while charging high commercial prices for electricity, water, and gas. This placed severe pressure on private and foreign businesses, allowing Qingye Group to absorb failing companies and their workers. 249
