Background / History

Xiao Wu was originally a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast from the Star Dou Great Forest. Her father died during a conflict with other Soul Beasts, while her mother, Xiao Rou, offered herself to Bibi Dong in exchange for Xiao Wu's safety. Xiao Wu returned too late and witnessed Bibi Dong absorbing Xiao Rou's Soul Ring and Soul Bone, believing that Bibi Dong had murdered her mother. This misunderstanding drove her to shapeshift and enter human society in pursuit of revenge. 268 325

While affiliated with Shrek Academy and close to Tang San, Xiao Wu was approached by Zhu Zhuqing on Lin Feng's behalf. Lin Feng exposed her Soul Beast identity and warned that a Titled Douluo had been watching her since childhood, leaving her frightened but giving her a potential protector. 19

After Lin Feng repeatedly supported and reassured her, Xiao Wu chose to leave Shrek Academy and formally became his third disciple. She received the Lotus Seed Bracelet, a Martial Soul Advancement Pill, and cultivation methods tailored to her flexibility and close-combat style. 51 54 55
