Yu Xiaoheng returned to save Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi, then risked his life to fuse with the Heavenly Punishment Soul Ring. He survived the transformation, reached level forty, and declared himself a sovereign of the Far North.

• Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi carried the unconscious Yu Xiaoheng through the blizzard, and when Evil Soul Masters found them, Yu Xiaoheng awakened and killed their attackers.
• Yu Xiaoheng rescued Yu Changkong and the other captives, but initially refused to return for Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi when he learned they had been captured.
• After Yu Changkong reminded Yu Xiaoheng how the sisters had protected him, Yu Xiaoheng turned back and rescued them from Rhine's forces.
• Rhine countered Yu Xiaoheng's Title Douluo attack with his Head Soul Bone, but Yu Xiaoheng used the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths Array Fragment to survive the Heavenly Punishment Soul Ring's absorption.
• Yu Xiaoheng's Purple Gold Sacred Dragon destroyed Rhine's attacking forces and absorbed their energy, while Heavenly Punishment Fire consumed and remade Yu Xiaoheng's body.
• Yu Xiaoheng used the Eight-petal Immortal Orchid and Ten Thousand Year Ginseng King to complete the fusion, reached level forty, and faced Rhine as a Soul Elder.

Yu Xiaoheng fought off the forces hunting him while Heavenly Punishment ravaged his body, then accepted help from Da Ming and Er Ming. As the factions confronted Yu Yuanzhen with evidence that Xiaoheng was in the forest, the beast kings intervened and attacked Tang Lie.

• Yu Xiaoheng slaughtered Rhine and the Evil Soul Masters, then collapsed from Heavenly Punishment’s backlash as Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi supported him back to camp.
• After Yu Xiaoheng’s group rescued Lei Ming and the others from a coalition ambush, Xiaoheng defeated the attackers and ordered his Spirit Skills and purple fire kept secret.
• Yu Xiaoheng recognized Bibi Dong’s cloth flower and sent searchers after her while she recovered and followed his trail through the forest.
• Coalition forces hunted Yu Xiaoheng across the Star Dou Great Forest as he struggled forward with Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi, his body eroded by Heavenly Punishment.
• Da Ming and Er Ming killed a Crimson Blood Diamond Tiger, agreed to help Yu Xiaoheng find a Soul Ring and escort him, and watched as he selected a dragon-type Spirit Beast.
• Tang Qingfeng confronted Yu Yuanzhen at the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and showed a Crystal Ball of Tang Lie pursuing Yu Xiaoheng, whom he accused of being an Evil Soul Master.
• Yu Xiaoheng faced Tang Lie without resisting, but Da Ming and Er Ming appeared as Tang Lie’s Clear Sky Hammer struck toward him.
• Er Ming caught Tang Lie’s hammer and hurled him aside, then he and Da Ming attacked as Tang Lie tried to flee and prepare to detonate his Soul Rings.

Yu Xiaoheng returned to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and fought off its attackers, then concealed his survival after his body collapsed into Purple Fire. The factions mourned him as dead, while Bibi Dong retaliated against the Clear Sky Sect and attacked Qian Xunji.

• Er Ming killed Tang Lie before the Crystal Ball’s audience, then he and Da Ming carried the surviving Yu Xiaoheng away from the Star Dou Great Forest.
• Tang Qingfeng revealed that Yu Xiaoheng had survived and the forest overlords had protected him, but Tang Hao ordered the factions to attack the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan anyway.
• Yu Xiaogang disguised himself as Yu Xiaoheng and appeared at the besieged clan, while the real Yu Xiaoheng and the Shui Family Sisters entered through a secret passage.
• Yu Xiaoheng defeated Yang Wudi with Purple Fire, then reached Yu Yuanzhen as the factions attacked the clan.
• Yu Xiaoheng healed Yu Yuanzhen with Immortal Herbs, but Tang Wei’s escalating attacks gravely wounded him and forced Yu Yuanzhen to prepare to sacrifice himself.
• Yu Xiaoheng’s body collapsed into Purple Fire, and Yu Yuanzhen pretended he was dead so the departing factions would leave the clan alone.
• Yu Xiaoheng secretly told Yu Yuanzhen to conceal his survival, while the clan mourned him and the factions accepted the story of his death.
• Qian Daoliu gave Yu Xiaoheng the posthumous title Hidden Dragon, while Bibi Dong learned of his supposed death and attacked a Clear Sky Sect outpost before turning on Qian Xunji.

Yu Xiaoheng returned from the Thunder Pool with new power and began striking back against the Clear Sky Sect while pursuing the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well and a stronger Spirit Ring. The arc ended with him trapped in the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger’s Life and Death Arena, facing the beast in their juvenile forms.

• Yu Yuanzhen revealed the Clear Sky Sect’s killings and the attacks on the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, while Bibi Dong was confined to Spirit City and Yu Xiaogang took over clan affairs.
• Yu Xiaoheng emerged from the Thunder Pool transformed, demonstrated his new Purple Gold Sacred Dragon abilities, disguised his appearance, and vowed to make his enemies pay.
• Yu Xiaoheng rescued Yu Shan from Tang San and the Clear Sky Sect, defeated their fighters, and went to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well to strengthen his power.
• At the well, Yu Xiaoheng gained Heavenly Punishment Ice and learned from Ancestor that he could inherit the Dragon God’s legacy and eventually absorb the Dragon Kings’ combined power.
• Bibi Dong formed Heaven Slayers with Shui Yun'er and Shui Lingxi, who killed fleeing Clear Sky Sect disciples as the group prepared to ambush reinforcements.
• Yu Xiaoheng rejected the Earth Splitting Demon Dragon’s Spirit Ring and chose to fight the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, whose Life and Death Arena reduced them both to juvenile forms.
• Yu Xiaoheng ignited Heavenly Punishment Fire and chased the fleeing tiger cub, striking at it as it raised its gray shield.
