Muneyoshi calmly walked toward him without saying a word.
He knew Echizen Nanjirō would speak first...
Sure enough, when Muneyoshi reached Echizen Nanjirō's side, the man spoke coldly. "Saeki Muneyoshi, I've been waiting for you for a long time."
Compared to Echizen Nanjirō's irritation with Muneyoshi, Muneyoshi's tone was extremely calm.
"So eager to give up your legendary status? Fine by me. From now on, I'll be the only legend in the world."
With that, Muneyoshi ignored him and headed straight for the court inside the temple, his tennis bag slung over his back.
Watching Saeki Muneyoshi, who was much younger than him yet brimming with confidence, Echizen Nanjirō suddenly felt a wave of pressure.
Once they were on the court, Muneyoshi took out his racket and smiled faintly. "Taking the title of legend from you sounds like a lot of fun."
"You really are stronger than I was at your age!"
Looking at the silver-haired boy before him, his expression cool, Echizen Nanjirō had to admit it, even though it annoyed him.
But Muneyoshi wasn't having it. "No. I'm not only stronger than you were at my age—I'm stronger than you are now."
As Muneyoshi finished speaking, his aura surged around him. A rolling torrent of force instantly enveloped Nanjirō.
Even though he had felt Muneyoshi's terrifying aura at the World Tournament, Echizen Nanjirō was still startled by it.
"Young people sure are confident!"
Nanjirō stopped trading barbs and fixed Muneyoshi with a sharp gaze. "Whatever the case, you
