When the spiders surged in like a tide from all directions, sealing off every route of escape, Gelman, Biscuit, and Shizuku showed no panic at all. Instead, they calmly formed a triangular formation.
"Your reactions are all pretty fast."
Biscuit clenched her fists and assumed a taut fighting stance, her Nen Energy flowing around her as one.
"Skipping the stages of panicking, demanding explanations, falling into despair, and rekindling our resolve is a good thing for our group."
She had always acted alone and rarely teamed up with others. She had suffered losses because of that before, and later decided that rather than cooperate with unreliable teammates, she would rather fight like a lone wolf.
In that regard, Gelman and Shizuku actually shared the same mindset as Biscuit.
Yet strangely enough, this temporary team of three lone wolves displayed exceptional coordination now that they were surrounded on all sides.
After finding Biscuit, Gelman had originally wanted to immediately find somewhere safe and have her "Magical Beautician Miss Cookie" help him relieve his stress. That idea was clearly no longer possible.
"Let's end this quickly." He spoke to the two behind him. "Biscuit, you just took down a spider. Do you have any crucial information for us?"
"Yes." Biscuit immediately replied, "They can float for a short time. When their abdomens swell, it's like they've been filled with helium. It lets them float for several seconds before they fall back down."
"Other than that, there are their webs and venomous fangs. I haven't seen them use those weapons yet, but they're spiders. There's a high chance they'll use them in the next fight."
"That's all I know."
"That's enough," Gelman replied. "We can figure out the rest of their abilities as we go. Remember to share any information with each other
