The leap kicked up a cloud of dust. Its sixteen eyes blinked in the haze, seemingly dull but actually glaring viciously at the three unfamiliar humans.
It was enormous. Once it stretched out its fur-covered legs, it took up two-thirds of the valley floor.
After the Giant Spider landed, the Spider Family retreated behind it. Following a moment of dead silence, it let out a piercing shriek at Gelman, Biscuit, and Shizuku!

Gelman dodged again. The rock slab stuck to the end of the webbing smashed a huge hole into the cliff behind him.
The crack sent countless squeaking rats scurrying out in fright. They ran rampant, throwing the entire valley into chaos.
In their desperate attempt to flee, they worked together to bore several oval black holes into the valley floor and scramble inside. The rest ran around like headless flies.
"Be careful not to step into the black holes," Gelman warned. "They're what forcefully teleport you. But after a few seconds, they'll shrink and disappear."
Biscuit and Shizuku both acknowledged him with a nod.
The huge slab of rock stuck to the webbing continued to smash against the cliff and valley floor as the Giant Spider swung
