The next day, Yugi and Mai ran into each other at a park.

"Jonouchi-kun!"

Yugi greeted Jonouchi, who was running towards them.

A slime that kept squirming appeared on Marik's field.

Then, he inserted the remaining two cards into his Duel Disk.

"You didn't draw a God Card?"

Yugi said as he saw Marik's hand empty.

Yugi couldn't quite tell how much Marik regretted it.

"Then it's my turn, draw!"

"First, I'll summon Silent Magician LV4 from my hand."

As a projection appeared, a small Silent Magician materialized on Yugi's field.

"Is that it!? Your LV monster."

Marik said with interest.

Yugi drew another card from his hand.

"I activate the Spell Card Level Up! from my hand, send Silent Magician LV4 to the Graveyard, and Special Summon the monster described on this card, Silent Magician LV8, from my Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions."

The small Silent Magician suddenly grew into a tall, mature woman.

"An ATK of 3500... To easily summon an Advanced Monster with higher ATK than Blue-Eyes White Dragon..."

Marik was stunned.

"Silent Magician LV8 also has a special effect; this card is unaffected by the effects of your opponent's Spell Cards."

Yugi said confidently.

"Yugi, you have so many good cards, this is exciting!"

Marik's eyes gleamed with envy.

"Battle! I attack Humanoid Reptilian with Silent Magician LV8!"

Silent Magician swung her staff and summoned a ball of light, firing it at the opponent.

"You won't get away with that! I activate my Set card, the Continuous Trap Defense Slime!"

When your opponent's monster attacks your monster, if Revival Slime is face-up on your field, the attack target is switched to Revival Slime.

The slime immediately blocked the ball of light, and was instantly scattered, but quickly reformed.

"Hmph hmph hmph, Revival Slime is immortal!"

Marik sneered.

"I set three cards and end my turn."

Seeing his attack fail, Yugi simply set three cards and declared the end of his turn.

Marik said with a smile.

"First, I reveal my Set card, the Quick-Play Spell Polymerization Release, to dissolve the Fusion of Humanoid Reptilian."

Humanoid Reptilian reverted back into two monsters.

[Humanoid Slime: Defense 2000]

[Reptilian: Defense 1500]

"Now, I have gathered three tributes on my field. I offer these three monsters as tributes!"

At this moment, the sky suddenly became overcast. Dark storm clouds flashed with lightning, and then several bolts of lightning struck around the two duelists.

Accompanied by a roar, a colossal figure that blotted out the sun slowly descended from the clouds behind Marik.

"Gods are unaffected by Trap Cards, and Spell Cards and monster effects only affect them once per turn. This is one of the Three Egyptian Gods, superior to all other Duel Monsters!"

Marik directly explained the effect.

"Six thousand Attack Power!? And this resistance!? How can anyone defeat a monster like that, AIBO?"

King asked anxiously.
