As Jiang Nan walked into the classroom,
the room, which had been somewhat noisy over the upcoming monthly exam, suddenly quieted down.

The whole class burst into laughter. Li Xiang smiled and shrugged.
"Haha, a Space Element Spirit Warrior delivering packages? That's a perfect match!"
"Three thousand, and not a cent more!"
Li Xiang said, "It's a rare opportunity. Think it over!"
Jiang Nan grinned. "I know a contractor on a construction site in the south of town. With your Earth Element Ability, couldn't you dig a cesspit there as fast as ten excavators?"
The whole class struggled to hold back their laughter, their faces turning red.

Li Muyan stormed into the classroom, dark circles under her eyes after a sleepless night. She glared at Jiang Nan and said,

The entire class fell silent. Everyone looked at the two of them differently!

The homeroom teacher's gaze fell on Jiang Nan.
Quite a few students looked at Jiang Nan and snickered.

River City No. 1 High School's gymnasium was a building that looked like a glass house.

Fewer than five hundred students from the ten senior-year Spiritual Martial classes gathered in their respective class lines.
After the principal gave a speech that nearly put everyone to sleep,
the monthly exam began.
A testing machine stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows!
It looked like a punch-strength tester. The target was made of Titanium-Magnesium Alloy, with a display screen on top to show the results.
A student from Class Ten stepped forward first. His aura surged, and flames suddenly covered both his hands!
He then swung with all his might, hurling a fireball the size of a washbasin at the machine.
With a loud boom, flames burst everywhere!
The target was blasted black, and a score appeared on the display.
"Black Iron Nine Stars, attack power: A!"
The student returned to his line, looking thrilled and a little proud.
The proctor said, "Mm, very good! Next!"
One by one, the students went up to take the test, each showing off their abilities.
Most had awakened one of the five elemental abilities, though there were also awakenings of special types, such as beast transformation, strength, and telekinesis.
The rankings on the leaderboard kept changing, based on level and attack power.
Two hours later, it was finally Spiritual Martial Class One's turn.
The students had been itching to give it a try.
Li Xiang was the first to leap forward. He took a deep breath, then stomped hard!
The reinforced-concrete floor twisted abruptly, forming a fist out of concrete that slammed into the testing machine.
"Bronze Three Stars, attack power: S!"
He shot straight to the top of the leaderboard!
Li Xiang let out a long breath, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
"As expected of Spiritual Martial Class One's monitor! Bronze Three Stars? That's insane!"
"A genius! I heard his talent is A-rank!"
"No wonder! How many high schoolers can reach Bronze level?"
Amid the chorus of praise, Li Xiang returned to his line and gave Jiang Nan a scornful glance. His meaning was clear.
After a few more students, it was Li Muyan's turn.
As a Gold Element Awakener, she controlled a metal ball bearing and sent it crashing into the testing machine.
Its force rivaled that of a firearm, and it even struck sparks!
"Peak Black Iron Ten Stars, attack power: A!"
Her ranking soared, pushing her straight into the top ten!
"Damn! Spiritual Martial Class One is full of monsters. That girl's strong!"
"Elemental Awakeners are all spellcasters. Their attack power goes without saying!"
Li Muyan walked over to Jiang Nan with a cold expression. "Just wait until you're kicked out of the class!"

A faint smile curled at the corner of Jiang Nan's mouth. He adjusted his baseball cap and slowly walked up to the testing machine.
"Haha, who said everyone in Class One was a tough guy? We've still got South God here!"
"That loser gets winded after teleporting half a meter. Hahaha!"
"I bet he can't even get a score to show up on the machine!"
As Jiang Nan stepped onto the platform, the crowd started chattering. They were all waiting for a show.
Jiang Nan paid no attention to their taunts.
He took a deep breath. The muscles all over his body seemed to tighten together like twisted steel cables!
He stepped forward with his left foot, rotated his waist, drove his hips, and swung his iron fist.
His punch even produced a deafening sonic boom!

The Titanium-Magnesium Alloy target caved in like putty.
The four anchor bolts snapped, and the entire testing machine was sent flying by his savage strength!
It flew as if a truck had hit it!
It smashed through the window and crashed from the third floor onto the rubber track, then rolled another twenty meters or so...
The gust of wind blew the baseball cap off Jiang Nan's head, revealing a shiny bald scalp!
