Time passed, and at last, Shiyu's slaughter came to an end.
Shiyu used the Body Flicker Technique to return to his teammates, then began wiping the blood of the seventeen-man squad from his hands and face.
Only then did Shiyu notice everyone staring intently at him.
"Why are you all looking at me?" Shiyu asked, bewildered. "How much time has passed?"
Nao and the others swallowed nervously. "One minute and thirty seconds."
"One minute and thirty seconds? That's a little longer than I expected. I must have wasted some time talking." Shiyu was clearly dissatisfied. He'd wanted to take out all seventeen ninjas in under a minute.
Everyone else, meanwhile, had gone from shocked to completely overwhelmed.
"He killed seventeen ninjas in just a minute and a half?"
"And he's still not satisfied? Shiyu, you're unbelievable!"
"Those were all Chunin and Jonin, way stronger than us. Are you really only five years old?"
Kakashi was the most shocked of all. This time, he was thoroughly convinced. He'd seen how decisive and ruthless Shiyu had been when killing those ninjas. What had gotten into him earlier? Had he been kicked in the head by a donkey? Why else would he challenge someone like that?
Shiyu waved a hand and pointed at the seventeen bodies. Nao, Kakashi, and Obito immediately understood and collected all the cards from the fallen ninjas.
Then Shiyu began to wonder.
"The Kaguya Clan is one of Kirigakure's Kekkei Genkai clans, and they're skilled in Water Release. That means all eighteen of them must have been from Kirigakure."
"But why would Kirigakure infiltrate the Chunin Exams and attack Konoha's Genin?"
"Kirigakure has been in turmoil for years. Not long ago, a ninja named Zabuza killed his entire class during the graduation exam. The major clans in Kirigakure have
