As Li Qinglin emerged from the Spirit Gathering Tower, the evening sun's afterglow spilled across the mountains of Green Maple Valley.

Not far away, a tall, broad-shouldered figure watched him with a smile. It was his maternal uncle, Li Yanfeng.

Li Qinglin hurried over and bowed respectfully to Li Yanfeng. "Uncle."

Noticing that Li Qinglin had successfully broken through into the Qi and Blood Realm, Li Yanfeng's eyes flashed with approval. He gave Li Qinglin a hearty slap on the shoulder. His huge hand sent Li Qinglin grimacing in pain.

Li Yanfeng chuckled. "Well done. You succeeded on your first try, Qinglin. You certainly haven't let me down."

Li Qinglin quickly replied, "It's all thanks to your guidance, Uncle."

Li Yanfeng waved a hand. "You have only yourself to thank. A rotten log won't grow into a towering tree, no matter how much care it receives."

Li Qinglin grinned.

"Now that you've broken through, I'll take you to meet an old friend of mine."

"An old friend?"

Li Qinglin was taken aback. "Who are you taking me to meet, Uncle?"

Li Yanfeng kept him guessing and smiled. "You'll find out when we get there."

With that, he swept his sleeve, and a gentle surge of spiritual power lifted Li Qinglin into the air. The two turned into streaks of light and flew out of Green Maple Valley toward Baihe County Town.

It was Li Qinglin's first time experiencing flight through the air.

Though his uncle was carrying him, the wind howled past his ears and the mountains and rivers raced away beneath his feet. His heart surged with excitement, and he yearned for even higher realms.
