Advancement requires a cultivator to break through the Qi and Blood Heavenly Gate, also called the Qi and Blood Heavenly Pass. Successful entrants undergo a qualitative increase in strength and can externalize their Qi and Blood power. 1 403 406

Otherworldly Qi and Blood Martial Arts

On the Heavenly Martial Continent, a distinct Qi and Blood martial system arose after the world's Spiritual Qi dried up. Survivors who drank from a blood-red lake generated violent Qi and Blood power without needing to absorb Spiritual Qi, allowing them to establish a new path of Qi and Blood martial arts. 765

• The blood-red lake was created by the fall of a terrifying otherworldly existence and derived its properties from the Otherworldly Sacred Relic at its bottom. 765
