Several hours later.

Li Xingzong arrived before an enormous complex of buildings.

He gazed at the four characters "Xuanshui Xiang Clan," written in bold, flowing strokes across the ceremonial archway.

Then he slowly descended to the ground.

Li Xingzong returned the salute. "Li Xingzong of the Yang Province Li Clan."

Xiang Yunduan's pupils contracted sharply.

As soon as Li Xingzong gave his name, a streak of light shot out from deep within the Xiang Family's territory.

It landed before Li Xingzong.

The light faded, revealing the stern face of a middle-aged man.

When Xiang Yunduan saw who had arrived, he hurriedly saluted. "Patriarch."
