As his Anti-Zhou Proclamation spread and southern forces prepared to march, the emperor revealed that the Progenitor Emperor was nearing the Heavenly Human Sacred Realm.

• Li Qingcang told Li Xinge that the Rootless People were descendants of the Li Family who had betrayed the Sacred Emperor and sought the Progenitor Relic, but Li Xinge refused to revive his ancestor and declared he would surpass him.
• Li Zhenshan’s newborn son, Li Chengji, appeared amid a five-clawed golden dragon phenomenon, and Li Xinge discovered the child had an Innate Human Emperor Dao Body and the Destiny of the Middle Thousand World.
• Li Xuanxian revealed that the North Branch had preserved the Ancestor Sacred Weapon, pledged its allegiance to Li Xinge, and agreed to reunite with the Main Branch as Li Xinge prepared to raise an army against Great Zhou.
• Li Xinge won the Old Dragon King’s support, became regent of the Dragon Palace, and ordered the Aquatic Races to blockade Great Zhou and join his campaign.

Li Xinge led the Southern forces against Great Zhou while the Jiang Family tried to sacrifice Jiang Qinghuang to awaken its progenitor. Chu Yuehan rescued Jiang Qinghuang but clashed with Li Xinge, then was punished by the Heavenly Dao and attacked by the Red Sun Saint as the Nine Suns Sacred Gate’s ambitions came into view.

• Jiang Wuji persuaded the emperor to send Jiang Qinghuang to the Imperial Mausoleum, while Cao Jin warned her that the Dragon Tiger Imperial Guard had surrounded her mansion.
• Shi Qianqiu gave Li Xinge a Myriad Treasures Token, warned him of the Jiang Family’s plans, and witnessed Li Hao break through to the Divine Mansion Realm.
• Li Xinge rallied the Southern forces to march on Shenjing, while Great Zhou issued a proclamation condemning him and the Li Family prepared its young disciples for war.
• Lü Fengxian killed Yang Chong, changed Xu Province’s banners, and welcomed Li Xinge, who accepted his allegiance.

Li Xinge’s forces destroyed Great Zhou’s defenses and Li Xinge faced the Progenitor Emperor with the Ancestor Sacred Weapon. Though Li Xinge’s strikes seemed to kill him, the Progenitor Emperor recovered and confronted Li Xinge over the Li Family’s destruction and the Rootless People’s betrayal.

• True Saint Han Yuan traced Chu Yuehan’s faint spirit, while the Nine Suns Sacred Gate’s Grand Elder confirmed that her injuries bore the aura of a Great Sun Golden Crow and sent Red Sun to find the sacred body’s bearer.
• Li Zaiyuan led the Li Family’s assault on Green Cliff Fort, and Zhou Shuang killed Zhou Chongshan before the Li Family wiped out the Zhou Clan.
• Li Qingshan used Man-Eating Gu and Qi-Blood Gu to attack Pinewind Abbey, broke through to the Innate Realm, and killed Pinecloud True Person and Pinejade True Person.
