Uchiha Gen fought off giant snakes using Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu enhanced with Fire Oil, impressing Orochimaru and the others. After the test ended, Orochimaru gave him a Ninjutsu Scroll, and Uchiha Yashiro invited him to attend a Uchiha clan assembly once he awakened the Sharingan.
