Character Card: Uchiha Madara (Young)

After all, no matter what, the Tomato and Egg Combo were the parents of the future savior. Konoha's ability to successfully endure the Third Shinobi World War in the future was also thanks to Minato Namikaze turning the tide.

Before Naruto was born, Minato Namikaze was the one with protagonist's destiny. Even Jiraiya believed he was the Child of Prophecy who could save the world.

At the very least, Uchiha Gen did not want the plot to spiral out of control because of the Butterfly Effect before he had gained sufficient strength and the absolute ability to protect himself.

The group agreed to meet at the Barbecue Restaurant later that day, then went their separate ways.

Eager to make a Gacha Pull, Uchiha Gen could no longer restrain his anxious mood. He sprinted all the way toward the Uchiha Clan Grounds and rushed home.

After washing his face, brushing his teeth, bathing, and burning incense, he sat cross-legged on his bed.

First, he paid respects to the Three Pure Ones and Four Emperors, then to Tathagata and Guanyin, and finally to God and the Sage of Six Paths.

Uchiha Gen opened his eyes, a flicker of delight passing through them.

Among all Green Quality cards, this one might not have been the strongest, but it was one of the cards Uchiha Gen knew best—and the one he considered most suitable for himself.

Because he had personally designed this Character Card before transmigrating.

From its background to its abilities, he knew everything about it.

Most importantly, the Young Madara represented by this card was Uchiha Madara after he had awakened the Sharingan.

Inside the Backpack Inventory, a card with green light glowing around its edges lay quietly.

In the image on the card, a black-clad, hedgehog-haired youth stood on the riverbank flats, holding a small stone.

The Cutscene began. The stone in the black-clad youth's hand was tossed out, skipping across the river's surface. Before it could reach the opposite shore, it fell into the water, splashing up droplets and sending ripples spreading outward.

"I told you already, Hashirama! I'm sensitive, you know. If someone's behind me, I can't even pee properly, let alone put any strength into my hands."

Young Madara turned around irritably and spoke to the mushroom-haired youth grinning foolishly behind him.

"Hehe."

Young Hashirama did not reply. Instead, he picked up a stone from the ground and threw it.

His technique was clearly less refined than Madara's, but his sheer strength forcibly sent the stone skipping all the way to the opposite bank.

The two youths quickly began bickering, while the scenes flashed past one after another.

They competed at skipping stones, then at seeing who could pee farther, then sparred with each other and competed in ninjutsu. Finally, they went together to the great tree where Konoha would first be established. Sitting atop the cliff that would one day become Hokage Rock, they poured out their hearts and spoke freely of their dreams.

In the background, the leaves turned from green to yellow, were covered by winter snow, and then became green again after the snow melted.

It represented the passage of time.

The scene shifted. Corpses of Senju and Uchiha covered the battlefield. Inside a tent, Uchiha Madara stood before his father's questioning, his face filled with unwillingness.

The scene returned to that small river. This time, besides Madara and Hashirama, Uchiha Tajima, Uchiha Izuna, Senju Butsuma, and Tobirama Senju also appeared by the riverbank.

The two youths had no choice but to turn against each other.

"Hashirama, that foolish future we talked about may ultimately never come to pass. After today, we will meet on the battlefield. There will no longer be Madara and Hashirama—only Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama."

A flash of scarlet appeared in Young Madara's eyes.

The animation ended there, which meant that the Madara represented by this Character Card was in the state from the final scene—having just awakened his eyes.

Although Uchiha Madara at this stage had only just awakened the One-Tomoe Sharingan, years of tempering amid war had already made him quite formidable. At the very least, he was not someone an ordinary Genin could compare to.

Uchiha Gen's gaze shifted to the card slots again.

At his current level, he only had one card slot. He would have to wait until the Gacha Pool updated at level twenty and higher-quality cards became available before he could unlock a second card slot.

In other words, he could only equip one of the two cards: Uchiha Madara (Young) and Haruno Sakura (Ninja Academy Student).

As for which one he should choose?

The instant he equipped the card, Uchiha Gen could clearly feel a considerable increase in both the quality and quantity of his physical abilities and Chakra.

The Uchiha Madara on the card was slightly older than he was now. Although his base stats still could not compare to freaks like the Senju and Uzumaki, they were already quite impressive.

Most importantly...

Uchiha Gen walked to the mirror and gathered Chakra in his eyes.

As if by instinct, his eyes turned blood-red in an instant. A tomoe appeared beside each black pupil, spinning rapidly.

"This feeling..."

Uchiha Gen felt as though his eyes had suddenly become crystal clear.

The steam drifting above the pot of water that had just boiled, and a crawling insect on the leaves of the tree outside the distant window, were all clearly reflected in his vision.

The One-Tomoe Sharingan did provide slight bonuses to copying ninjutsu and hypnotizing with genjutsu, but they were not very obvious.

At this stage, the Sharingan's most prominent trait was its insight.

Within his field of vision, every movement and detail could be observed clearly.

And more importantly...

Uchiha Gen lowered his head and looked at his hands, channeling Chakra into them.

One red and one green—the colors representing Fire Release and Wind Release Chakra—appeared in his vision, flowing along the meridians in his hands.

Fire and wind were Uchiha Gen's own Chakra natures.

It now seemed that before Young Madara had fused with Hashirama's cells, his Chakra nature had also primarily consisted of Wind Release and Fire Release.

From now on, he could see Chakra directly.

Of course, with the One-Tomoe Sharingan, he still could not see it clearly enough. It was somewhat blurry, and he could not discern the details needed to copy ninjutsu as the Two-Tomoe Sharingan could. Still, he could use the general flow of Chakra within an enemy's body to judge their condition.

Awakening the Sharingan meant that, compared to ninja of the same level, Uchiha were already one step ahead.

In the Ninja World, the most common tactics for dealing with Uchiha ninja who had awakened the Sharingan were either having the strong bully the weak or ganging up on them.

For a group attack, there needed to be at least two people—one to draw their attention and one to restrain them.

The Uchiha Clan had always possessed the greatest number of elite jōnin-level experts in the Ninja World. That was the foundation that allowed them to become the universally acknowledged strongest great clan.
