"One... two... three."
With a swish, the sword was completely drawn from its sheath.
"All right. I'll kill him."
The Diadem gave in and raised its wand, aiming at the student under its control.
"Expelliarmus!"
Professor McGonagall roared as a red spell burst forth.
Flitwick followed close behind, casting a spell at "Luna" as well.
"Whoosh, whoosh."
"Luna" raised her wand to defend herself, deflecting the spells before saying, "You have to hold them off for me, or I won't get a chance to strike."
A faint smile played on Voldemort's lips.
He knew the damned Diadem was forcing him to reveal his evil side.
Then so be it. He didn't care. It wasn't as though he was a good person.
He just didn't want the infamy of killing someone with his own hands.
As long as he hadn't done it himself, what couldn't he deny responsibility for?
"Both of you, let's take a pause."
Voldemort held the sword and stepped in front of "Luna."
"What's the point of doing this?" Flitwick said. "You said that one is you, too. If you let him kill someone, then it's still—"
"If he wants to kill someone, I can't stop him," Voldemort said. "I'm only trying to protect more students from getting hurt."
Whoosh—
Professor McGonagall didn't waste words. She immediately cast a spell at Voldemort.
Seeing her attack, Flitwick drew his wand and fired off several spells.
Clang, clang, clang...
The sword swung, deflecting every spell one by one.
Neville didn't have much magic left. If he used magic, he'd be at a disadvantage later.
But using a sword was different. With his full mental strength engaged, his reactions were far beyond ordinary, and he could deflect magic with ease.
At least, he could do that until the sword broke.
Whoosh,
