Luna had never imagined that one day she would be like the princesses in those stories.
So many people bustled around her, bringing her all kinds of clothes.
Some measured her height and wingspan, saying they needed to make her a cane.
Others carefully measured her feet, saying they would have custom leather shoes made, and showed her all sorts of styles.
The usually dazed little girl finally came to life at the sight of all these sparkling things.
"It's about time. Let's go."
It wasn't until Voldemort walked over to her in a crisp suit, leaning on an ivory-handled cane, that the little witch emerged from this dreamlike world.
"The Muggle world isn't so bad either, is it, Voldemort?"
Inside the limousine, Luna toyed with the sparkling bangle on her arm and asked Voldemort.
"Of course not. But you need money first."
Voldemort smiled as he replied, though his eyes remained fixed on the financial statement in his hands.
It was an extremely simplified statement, but he still seemed to be struggling with it.
Of course, if he only looked at that long string of numbers at the bottom, he could understand it. But evidently, that wasn't how you were supposed to read a financial statement.
"Angela is waiting in the meeting room too, sir. If you have any questions about the finances, you can ask her."
