"Go to the Department of Mysteries?"
Crouch's eyes widened in shock, as if to tell Voldemort just how unreasonable his request was.
"Yes, Mr. Crouch. I know it's difficult, but that's exactly why I came to you."
Voldemort ignored his surprise. No matter what, he was going to make this trip.
"Just to look?" Once Crouch had calmed down, he didn't refuse outright.
"I need to go to the Chamber of Time and study the material related to the Time-Turner," Voldemort said.
"Then we'll need an Unspeakable to guide us—and an Unspeakable from the Chamber of Time..."
Crouch's brows drew together. He was clearly torn.
"I have no intention of taking anything from there except knowledge, Mr. Crouch. This is very important to me. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come calling in the middle of the night," Voldemort said earnestly.
Crouch nodded and thought it over. "I need to see someone. He can take us inside, but before that, you'll need another identity."
"Use Lucius's," Abou cut in.
Crouch considered it and decided there shouldn't be a problem. He told Voldemort and the others to get ready while he went to find someone.
"One o'clock in the morning. Meet at the phone booth."
They agreed on a time and went their separate ways.
"Teacher, the person you wanted me to follow is Mr. Barty Crouch?" Percy asked, still a little excited.
"That's right, but he's not a good teacher." Voldemort smiled. "Learn his abilities, but don't learn how he conducts himself. Otherwise, your path will be much harder."
"I understand, Teacher." Percy nodded, then thought for a moment before asking, "Teacher, do you think I should increase the number of Torch Organization members in the Ministry?"
"Torch Organization?" Voldemort asked.
"It's the new name I came up with for the Torch
