Voldemort asked, holding his wand up warily.
He was afraid the others might come rushing back to attack, so he didn't dare let his guard down.

Voldemort narrowed his eyes and cast a Perception Spell on her.
"Damn it."
He roared and cast another spell, forcing her to open her mouth.
Sure enough, one of her teeth had cracked, and a foul smell was coming from it.
The old woman had actually swallowed poison the moment she realized she couldn't escape.
"Swish."
His wand swept through the air, and a Healing Spell fell on the old woman, slowing her body's convulsions.
But it couldn't fully heal her. The poison was exceptionally potent, and the Healing Spell couldn't save her.
"Swish."
His wand swept through the air again. This time, it was a Legilimency Spell.
Voldemort wanted to discover her identity before she died, and, ideally, uncover the force behind her.
