The whole island was shrouded in mist. As they entered, the damp cold seeped through them, making it hard not to shiver.
"Have some chocolate."
Moody pulled a large slab of chocolate from the pocket of his shabby coat, broke off a piece for Voldemort and Flitwick, and kept the rest.
"It's really cold here." Flitwick took the chocolate. "I should've worn more."
"That wouldn't help much." Moody knew the place well. He shook his head. "Dementors suck away happiness and bring cold with them. You'll understand once we get inside."
The two of them looked in the direction he pointed and spotted a long, castle-like building in the distance, its shabby outer walls and green moss standing out starkly through the mist.
"Wait a little while. A Hit Wizard will come to meet us. If we go in recklessly, we could easily provoke the Dementors into attacking." Moody reminded them.
That was also why Dumbledore had specifically asked him to accompany them. Azkaban was completely different from Hogwarts, and they needed a guide who knew the place well.
"One more thing." He reminded them sternly, "I know you can both cast the Patronus Charm, but don't use it unless your lives are in danger. If things go wrong, it could cause the Dementors to riot."

"Mr. Moody, I'm glad you could come." The man spoke with reverence in his eyes.
"Headmaster Flitwick, I never expected to see you here." His reverence turned to respect.
