Somewhere in a secret base in Siberia, where snow and wind howled.

Voldemort trudged through the snow, stopping every so often to figure out which way to go.

"This damned weather. If the payoff weren't big enough, you couldn't drag me back here."

He complained about the blizzard, lowering his head as he pressed on against the wind.

He had no idea how far or how long he'd walked. At last, a soldier sprang out of a snowdrift and stopped him at gunpoint.

"Finally, I've found you." Voldemort didn't panic. He simply shouted, "The storm was too bad, and the car broke down, so I had to come on foot."

"Who are you?" a soldier not far away asked him in Russian.

"An envoy. About those two Il-76 transport planes, I need to speak with your commanding officer," Voldemort replied in clumsy Russian.

"Your papers," the soldier said. Before Voldemort could move, he raised his gun again and added, "Don't move. I'll have my partner check you."

Voldemort nodded. Then he saw another soldier emerge from the snow nearby. Wasn't it freezing to hide in the snow in weather like this?

"Where are they?" The second soldier approached him and asked.

"In the pocket on my chest. You'll find them if you check," he called back, raising his right hand. Hidden in his sleeve, he held his wand in a reverse grip and cast the Imperius Curse with a Silencing Charm.

"His papers are in order. He's high-ranking," the controlled soldier called to his comrade. "I'll take him inside. You keep watch."

The first soldier nodded, then went back into hiding.

Voldemort followed the controlled soldier deeper into the secret base.

Along the way, he quietly used the Memory Charm to alter the soldier's memories, making him believe and accept
