The Erosion

The difference between the Material World and the Wizard World was clear.

In terms of Saint-level beings alone, even at its peak, the Wizard World probably couldn't compare to the Material World.

But at the middle and lower levels of power, the situation was completely reversed.

A Fourth Order being was impressive in the Wizard World, but nowhere near the top.

In the Material World, however, he would enjoy an extraordinarily esteemed position, and countless mortals would sing his praises.

Across the entire Material World, there were probably only a little over a thousand Fourth Order beings.

That was only because, in the current era, the Gods had already awakened, leading many Priests to advance to the Fourth Order.

Before that, the number would have been even more pitiful.

Even now, the Wizard World could easily field an expeditionary force of tens of thousands of Fourth Order Wizards.

The difference in power between the two was plain to see.

Of course, this obvious disparity didn't mean the Material World was weak. It came down to their respective roles.

The Material World wasn't all of the World of Gods; it was only one part of it.

Though the Material World held the vast majority of the World of Gods' power, it was only one of its two crucial poles, not the whole.

Only when the Material World and the Abyss World were combined did they form the complete World of Gods.

The Material World was the absolute core, capable of producing Saint-level beings.

The Abyss World, the Material World's absolute opposite, had no soil in which Saint-level beings could emerge. But for that very reason, it had given rise to vast numbers of Demons.

The number of Demons born in the Abyss who were above the Fourth Order definitely exceeded tens
