As he gazed at Arthur before him, the God of Destruction recalled the moment when the King of Earth Demons had fought Arthur and pondered the matter.

After all, with the Abyss World restored to unity, the King of Earth Demons' power was bound to become incomparably immense. Though reaching this level had still surprised him, it wasn't anything extraordinary.

That was highly unusual, and it instantly brought the earlier scene to mind.

Of course, even though he could tell something was amiss, the God of Destruction merely assumed the two had some sort of arrangement. He didn't consider anything deeper.
