The Arrival

Faith Power surged forth.

Around the outskirts of the Calamity World, the gods' incarnations arrived one after another, displaying miracles throughout the world. A frenzy of faith was unfolding.

In a world where supernatural powers had never manifested before, the appearance of miracles had an extraordinarily profound impact.

At this level, many ordinary people had become fanatical followers of the Deities, offering them a great deal of Faith Power.

In response, the Deities began returning that Faith Power along the Faith Lines. Streams of divine power flowed back through the lines and poured into the bodies of their followers.

In this back-and-forth, a favorable situation had taken shape.

"This world is truly fanatical about faith."

Standing in the sky and sensing the Faith Power steadily growing across the world, Mar, the Goddess of Destiny, could only shake her head, unsure what to say.

"It's perfectly normal for a world without supernatural beings to react this way to the Deities."

Beside the Goddess of Destiny, the God of Foresight spoke softly. "But this is only the outskirts of the Calamity World. Once we venture deeper into it and reach the other levels, I'm afraid things won't be so easy."

Whether or not a world possessed supernatural powers was very important when it came to faith.

If supernatural powers existed, then to some people, the Deities were merely more powerful supernatural beings. They were not all that different from those so-called members of the Legend Domain, apart from being stronger.

So in a world with supernatural powers, the Deities had to rely on the contracts formed by Faith Lines to gain more followers.

The followers provided their gods with faith and power, while the Deities returned divine power in turn, allowing their followers to grow stronger and even, to some extent, ensuring
