After a day and a half of growing in the game, the Wagyu Qin Lin had bought showed a prompt saying it could be sold or taken to the butcher in Mineral Town for slaughter. Naturally, there was still no prompt saying the turtles were ready to harvest.
So he went straight to the ranch with his Game Character. In the game, there wasn't much difference in price between selling a whole cow and having the butcher slaughter it first.
Most players wouldn't go out of their way to have the butcher do it.
But some quests and sacrificial ceremonies called for meat, so players needed the butcher to slaughter their animals.
Naturally, that was convenient for Qin Lin, too.
He could have the butcher slaughter the cow in the game, then take the meat out.
Just like when he'd had a Beauty-enhancing Duck slaughtered for medicinal cuisine.
Otherwise, taking a whole cow out and finding someone to slaughter it would've been a real hassle.
Qin Lin controlled his Game Character as he led a Wagyu out of the cowshed and headed to Mineral Town to find the butcher.
Before long, chunks of beef appeared in his character's backpack.
But damn it, something didn't look right when he saw the meat.
There was nothing but meat.
The head, the pizzle, and the hooves were all gone.
Wasn't that just bullying him?
He could let the butcher pocket the head and hooves, but did he have to steal everything?
Qin Lin clicked on the butcher, and the butcher's dialogue appeared:

He clicked again.

All he could say was that this damn game mechanic was lucky the butcher was
