Qin Lin, Chen Shengfei, Ma Liewen, and Li Qing were making tea when a call came in.
It was Shen Li.
Qin Lin answered right away. "Manager Shen, what's up?"
Shen Li explained, "Chairman Qin, the second batch of Qinglin Watermelons has ripened. Our laboratory plans to visit the townships where they were planted tomorrow and check on the crop. Would you like to come along?"
"Hold on." Qin Lin moved the phone away and turned to Chen Shengfei and Ma Liewen. "Old Chen, Old Ma, do you want to check out the Qinglin Watermelon fields tomorrow?"
Chen Shengfei and Ma Liewen were clearly interested. After all, each of them owned ten percent of the laboratory.
Chen Shengfei smiled. "We've got a few days off, so let's go take a look!"
Ma Liewen nodded too.
The first batch of Qinglin Watermelons had been planted in mid-April. Since they grew quickly, the entire process, from preparing the fields to selling the fruit, took only about two months.
