Academician Zhu suddenly froze and fell silent for a long while.
Academician Li and the others looked at him in confusion.
"Academician Zhu, what's wrong?" Academician Li asked.
Academician Zhu didn't answer. His mind was caught up in that sudden flash of inspiration. He hurriedly said to Academician Sun and Academician Fei, "Sun, Fei, do you think we could change ΔV=Vc×ln{(M+P)/M} to ΔV=Vc×ln{(M+P)/M} or (M+P)/M = e^(ΔV/Vc) V =>, increasing the possibilities for rocket propulsion and energy storage?"
Hearing Academician Zhu's words, Academician Sun and Academician Fei also froze. A flash of inspiration seemed to cross their minds, as if they'd suddenly understood something.
"Zhu, that seems possible." Academician Sun thought it over and nodded firmly.
"Let's try it!" Academician Fei immediately said.
The inspiration he'd just had was almost unbelievable.
After hearing Academician Zhu's words, they, too, rapidly considered the possibilities of those transformed variables.
"Sun, go get the experimental computer. I want to run a simulation with the experimental software." Like Professor Li Kai before him, Academician Zhu crouched down and began scribbling formulas in the dirt with a pebble. He continued, "Fei, use the video-call equipment to contact Huake Academy and have them run a simulation at the same time."
He was afraid this inspiration would vanish in an instant. He wanted to record it right away, because even the slightest oversight could lead to a completely different result.
Academician Li and the other two were dumbfounded.
This was the second time they'd witnessed a scene like this. First it had been Professor Li Kai, and now it was Academician Zhu.
It seemed their earlier guess had been right.
