Food Night proceeded in an orderly fashion after the contest between Qinglin Beef and wagyu.
All the chefs, including Yu Xin and Big Star Xie, were already busily preparing their signature dishes. They handed them to the visitors in front of their cooking stations, hoping to earn their votes.
Of course, each visitor at Food Night had only three votes.
They didn't immediately vote for any chef. Instead, they tasted the dishes one by one.
Only when they found something that was truly tastier than the rest, or simply more to their liking, did they cast a vote for its chef.
"Everyone, you can now prepare a dish for the gourmets. Make the most of this opportunity," Lin Lanzi said into the microphone.
At that, the chefs all got serious.
The visitors' votes were only part of the score. The gourmets' evaluations also counted for a large share.
The chefs quickly took out pieces of Qinglin Beef and began preparing their dishes with care. When they were done, they handed them to the staff, who took them inside for the gourmets to taste.
Each dish was also assigned a number, so there would be no mix-ups.
Fida and the other gourmets had been waiting for this. When the staff carried in the chefs' beef dishes, they all looked eager.
As soon as the dishes were set in front of Fida and the other gourmets, they started tasting them.
There were so many chefs that each dish only got a bite or two.
But as they tasted the dishes, Fida and the others discovered that every single one was astonishingly delicious. Many even surpassed the earlier dish in flavor and texture.
In other words, all these chefs were even better than the chef who had competed earlier.
