In a university dormitory, Chen Xue returned to her room carrying the Three-Colored Watermelon she had just bought. As soon as she walked in, several of her roommates came over to ask her questions.
"Chen Xue, do you know what new thing Fairytale Mountain is up to?"
"Yeah, what are they installing?"
"Maybe they're preparing another surprise?"
Chen Xue was a little confused by their questions. She was from You City, and she worked at Qinglin Scenic Area during her winter and summer breaks. She also knew some of the people in charge there.
In the two years she had been at university, many of the Qinglin Scenic Area employees she'd worked and joked around with during her breaks had been promoted to team leaders, supervisors, and even deputy managers.
So whenever anything happened at Qinglin Scenic Area, her roommates would ask her about it.
Of course, the main reason was that lately, both the fireflies and Fairytale Mountain had been so captivating that her roommates had been following all the news. They planned to go back to You City with her during the next break and visit all the attractions.
And it wasn't the first time something like this had happened.
Chen Xue leaned in to look at the videos on her roommates' phones. Sure enough, the clips showed visitors filming people installing some kind of special equipment around Fairytale Mountain.
Curious, Chen Xue immediately took out her phone and messaged the people she knew at Qinglin Villa to ask what was going on.
"Little Snow, long time no see... Um, I'm not sure either!"
"Little Snow, are you coming back to work part-time this year?... I asked the people at Fairytale Mountain too, but they don't know either!"
"No idea! I wish someone would tell me, too!"
