Sasori Appears
Having a lot of Chakra did not mean one was strong, but having little Chakra meant one definitely would not be very strong.
Having been in the world of Naruto for many years, Yunqing strongly agreed with this view.
Chiyo, who played with puppets, and Sāmon, a weak Kage-level ninja—when it came to Chakra reserves, they could leave eighty percent of ninjas in the dust.
"Pakura, I've only just realized that there's a lot of common sense you don't understand. It seems you need to be retrained from scratch."
After composing himself, Yunqing teased her.
Pakura raised her head with a face full of black lines, looked at Yunqing, opened her mouth speechlessly, but could not say a word.
Without a famous teacher to guide me, I've always relied on myself. So it's my fault that I lack common sense?
Pakura felt that, within the Ye Clan, she had already been the most gifted child. What else could she do? The help the Ye Clan could offer her was only enough to let her reach the Quasi-Kage stage.
That was also the situation for most Ninja Clans. Relying on secret techniques and bloodlines, they could quickly reach the Quasi-Kage stage after becoming Elite Jonin.
There was only one word's difference between Quasi-Kage and Kage, yet the gap between them was enormous—not something ordinary people could cross.
"Pack up and come back with me. From now on, I'll help you make up for your weak foundation."
Yunqing shook his head, turned, and left with a smile.
He had not discovered the problem too late, and Pakura could still be saved. If it had been a few years later and she had missed the best time to train, Sunagakure might have lost a Kage-level ninja.
"Wealth, methods, environment, and companions—none of them can be lacking."
Yunqing thought as he walked.
"No wonder it's always the great clans that become famous. Civilian Ninjas rarely get a chance to rise."
Thinking it over carefully, Yunqing realized that he could not really be considered of civilian birth. Being a direct descendant of the Kazekage alone put him far ahead of countless others.
At the very least, when Sāmon taught him, he had laid an exceptionally solid foundation for him.
Thinking of Naruto, the most pitiful prince in the original story, the resources he had after graduating still surpassed those of over ninety percent of people.
The moment he left the Ninja Academy, Quasi-Kage Kakashi served as his bodyguard. Later, Jiraiya personally taught and guided him, strengthening his foundation. When they were unavailable, Konoha's only Wood Style Yamato took over his care. When he wanted to train Wind Release Chakra, he could directly ask Asuma. When he studied Tailed Beast control, he even encountered Eight-Tails Jinchuriki Killer B.
With connections and resources like that, who could compare? Probably only the young Sannin.
The more Yunqing thought about it, the more terrifying it became. He realized why the position of Kage was always passed down among the direct lines of Kage.
Just the basic knowledge related to the Kage-level was enough to block over ninety percent of people.
Before long, the students of the Sunagakure Ninja Academy discovered that they had been given an extracurricular book titled Ninja Training Guide: The Interconnected Effects of Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu.
The school bell rang. Sasori packed his bag and headed home.
Senra had his arm around his Wife Suziko when he looked at his son returning home in confusion. Sasori was far too abnormal today—he was unexpectedly silent.
"Sasori, did something happen?"
Senra and Suziko exchanged a glance. Suziko stepped forward gently and asked.
"Mom, do you think Lord Kazekage can make mistakes?"
The still-young Sasori opened his eyes wide and looked at his mother in confusion. His innocent appearance made Suziko's maternal instincts flare up.
"Sasori, what is it? What happened that made you question Lord Kazekage?"
Senra was also bewildered. Why did his son want to question Lord Kazekage? Had someone said something to him?
Sasori shook his head and pulled a thin book from his bag, handing it to Senra.
"Father, this is the book we were given today. I think what it says is wrong. How could Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu complement each other?
"Besides, I've never encountered the things described in this book during my usual training."
Senra frowned as he accepted the book, then began to study it.
The farther he read, the more puzzled Senra became. Ignoring Sasori and Suziko's expressions, he read it again. This time, he gained a little understanding, but he still read it a third time. This time, he was even more confused—the slight understanding he had just gained vanished instantly.
"Sasori, as your father, I shouldn't lie to you. I don't understand it either, but my instincts tell me there's nothing wrong with this book.
"When your grandmother comes back later, we'll ask her about it together.
"For now, are you willing to study it with me?"
Senra forced a smile, forcibly suppressing the shock in his heart as he spoke.
He realized that, just as Sasori had said, the things in this book were not particularly difficult, and they were things they encountered during their usual training. Yet most of the situations described within were ones they had never encountered.
He did not know how to explain the wonder of this book. He could only say that it was not wrong.
"I am."
Sasori nodded happily, agreeing with his father.
He was very happy to be able to study with his father.
When Chiyo returned home, she found her son, daughter-in-law, and Grandson reading a book together. The book was not particularly thick.
This harmony among family members made her very happy.
Hearing the door open, Sasori raised his head. When he saw his grandmother, he excitedly jumped up, rushed toward Chiyo, and shouted, "Grandma, Grandma, come quickly! Sasori has something to ask you!"
Dad and Mom had no way to help Scorpion. We could only rely on you."
Senra and Suziko behind him looked helplessly at Scorpion.
That brat—how could he be like this? Couldn't he at least cover up his own father's incompetence?
"Oh, really? Then let Grandma handle it. There's nothing in this world that Grandma doesn't understand."
Looking at her adorable little grandson, Chiyo was "forced" to boast with a smile.
After hearing Scorpion's question and taking the book, Chiyo gave it a cursory read, and her brows immediately furrowed deeply.
She understood the contents. They were absolutely correct. On the surface, this book taught people how to train, but in the eyes of a Kage-level expert, it was a Training Guide that could allow someone with sufficient talent to steadily reach the Kage level.
"Interesting. Just how far has Yunqing's strength reached, for him to be able to write such a complete book?"
Even if Chiyo had written it herself, she would never have been able to produce such a comprehensive Training Guide.
She had only ever taught her son and grandson by instinct.
Her situation was that she knew what to do, but not why it had to be done.
Yunqing had written out exactly why it had to be done.
Seeing Chiyo lost in thought, Scorpion tugged at her clothes, reminding his grandmother that she still had an adorable grandson waiting for her.
Taking a deep breath, Chiyo said as evenly as she could, "Little Scorpion, there's nothing wrong with this book. The reason you find it ordinary is because this is how Grandma has always taught you."
"Then, Grandma, are Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, and Genjutsu really complementary to one another?"
Scorpion frowned and asked in confusion. Why hadn't he felt that way at all?
Senra behind Scorpion wore the same expression.
Seeing the expressions on her son and grandson's faces, Chiyo wanted to beat them to death.
What could she say? That she had been doing her best to clear away the obstacles on their path before the Kage level?
Could she say that what she had taught them was required coursework for the Kage level?
Looking at the two of them, Chiyo still told them all of this.
Then she watched their shocked expressions with great interest.
